Quality Concrete

They quoted a price and we had them do a sight visit so they knew what we had and half way through the project he added cost and would not provide pictures to justify! Also we have a hump in our concrete, left the edges unfinished, one pad is not straight and concrete splashed up the side of our brick/windows/doors. He was nice but poor quality and jacked up the price after the fact!

They did a great job on the surface that you see but I do not like the sides. They cement did not come down the sides to cover the gravel and trying to move excess it just keeps coming out and leaves just the cement hanging. Do not think that is good. Over time it will sink down with the weight and ruin the work I paid for. Not worth the money I paid for the job. Small level jobs think they would do good. Just hate the unfinished side that I have to mess with by my self as I am a widow. Disappointed

Told us 1 price before he started as he does everything on a hand shake. When he was about finished it was about $1000 higher and the concrete is not level and water pours in it. He was told that the pile of gravel left in our driveway he would need to use to raise it before he poured the concrete on more than 1 occasion. He took the gravel and used it in our driveway and than the loads he charged us for he took somewhere else, the reason I know this is my mother was staying with us and saw him. When my husband noticed it and confronted him he said he was not finished yet. So after it cured my husband said you did not do what I asked you to do and he proceeded to say he could fix it but charged us again to fix it, this happened 2 times besides the initial pour. My husband contacted him the 4th time and lets just say the jerk tried to blame it on everyone else but him and his workers, so around $9000 he took from us. He is a shady person and that is why he does not want any signed contract and only does things on a hand shake. Need to contact the BBB on this one.

Everything turned out great.

Decent concrete guys are hard to find here in my area. They were my 6th and if I had them from the beginning everything would have went a lot smoother.
