We had to fire Rosen Construction mid way through the project because we had lost any confidence that he could complete the project in any way that would acceptable to us. He had failed in our view on each of the first phases on the project. The road was poorly done, he had installed a damaged conduit into our house which flooded our basement, the concrete floor was poorly done, he failed misserably in trying to paint the steel, even after I brought in expert help to assist him, among other problems. I brought in Welch Construction to clean up the mess Rosen had created and complete the project. Mr. Welch did a great job in a difficult situation. We sued Rosen Construction in the Lincoln county court and won a judgement of Breach of Contract and $40,000 in damages, which Rosen has now paid. This award was not enough to cover our expenses but did at least provide some level of justice. I could NEVER recommend Rosen construction for ANY work whatsoever.
Description of Work: Rosen was contracted to build a premium freespan metal building, 100 ft. by 200 ft.. He was sole contractor on the project.

He was very shady and cut a lot of corners. He made a lot of promises and did not keep them. He was very vague with his contract, and, bottom line, I learned a lot from dealing with him. I had to run him off the property because of the poor work. He did one roof which started leaking 7 days later. The second deck leaked 4 days later, and the manufacturer even told me it was normal for a new roof to leak. All in all, with the poor work and damage from the leaks, I am out $4000.
Description of Work: He was supposed to install a metal roof with high decking. I did all the prep work, including tearing off old roof, checking deck work and laying felt. All he had to do was lay the new roof.
