I am very happy with them. They have excellent service and very responsive.

The installer showed up 30 minutes late-the unit was installed. On the work order (76864), the tech noted that the system was tested and working properly. I found out nearly one year later that the UV lamps on the unit were not even plugged in-I plugged them in today. The unit could not have been tested. I must add that I bought a $8K HVAC system from Grand Oaks on 5/23/12. The unit is oversized, thus on humid days when the outside temp is not high, it will not remove humidity from the house. Also, the AC unit was installed without a locking AC cap set, causing the unit to lose Freon. I paid for the repair by another company rather than to have to try to communicate with Grand Oaks again. In addition, there have been 3 missed service appointments-twice, the clerk called me and rescheduled the appointments. When no one showed up on the day of the appointment, I called Grand Oaks and was told that there was no record of the (rescheduled) appointment(s). My recommendation is to avoid Grand Oaks-and their employee turnover is very high.

In a busy season, they came as promised, worked me in. After diagnosing the problem at 4:40PM and only 20 mins to get to a distributor - they ran and got parts and came back completing the job on a Friday night.

They send me reminders for appointments. I would probably forget about it if they didn’t. They are reliable and reasonably priced too. I have never had a problem with them. They come out pretty quickly and are right on time. I have signed up for a paid contract with them where they would come out in the spring.
