Waldbart & Sons Nursery

If I could give zero rating, I would. Highly disappointed with this company's service and would not recommend them for their trees. We purchased a new tree through the nursery which had a disease (and possibly a fungus). Tree started showing signs of an issue just beyond the 1-year warranty and company refused to offer anything in terms of a replacement. Very poor service, and would not recommend this nursery, especially when there are so many others out there. The owner clearly only cares about making a dollar and not customer satisfaction or repeat business. Buyer beware!

The plants and trees at this nursery are great, but the customer service leaves much to be desired. I have gone to the Florissant, MO location on a few occasions because it is close to my house, and nearly every time I go there, it is like pulling teeth to get someone to help me. They have several employees who are clearly there for the manual labor but don't really know anything about the plants. When you try to talk to one of their managers to ask questions, they will not give you the time of day, particularly if you are a woman. I've seen them help men who want to chat and have questions, and woman present in those conversations just hang out in the background. We have even received more help from them when I bring my husband along, because I guess he is worthy of their attention. Its very disappointing, as I am the gardener in our family, not my husband, and I feel the only way I can get any support from Waldbart staff is if my husband tags along. Today I went in there to ask about some annual flowers, and the response I got from one of their "managers" was literally this: "Whatever I have is out there!" I asked, "where??" and he haphazardly motioned to the greenhouse area. I got no help or advice on the specific type of annual I was asking about, and he clearly didn't want to help me. Mind you, he was not waiting on anyone else and appeared not to be doing anything at that moment. Just very disappointing. I will never be going there again.

Their plants are in excellent shape. They are strong plants.

They do a very good job. They have very good quality plants. They were on time, the people they send are always courteous and they just simply do a good job. I like working with Jack at the store- he is very knowledgeable and helpful. They are the only nursery I ever think about using.

My husband and I are very pleased with the job they did, it looks really nice. I also feel that they did a quality job installing the limestone. The method they installed it will help it withstand the ground being frozen and thawed around it well.
