 + -1 moreThe guy's name is Bob. He's done a couple of things for me and I have some more things for him to do. I've been very happy with him. I spent close to $500 for all that. He had quite ab it to do and he was here for 10 hours. He really worked to get it done. I don't have a big bathroom but sometimes it may be harder to do because it's smaller. I had carpeting around the floor and it was soaking wet from a leak and we had to find out where that was coming from before we started anything.
Description of Work: I used The HAN-D-MAN 6 weeks ago to replace a floor for me in the bathroom, replace the ring around the toilet and replace some fixtures for the sink in my bathroom as well.

 + -1 moreThe owner himself came out to give us the quote, and he was very knowledgeable about what he needed to do to complete the project, and there were little external things that I had said I would take care of. He said that they would do that, and that is what they are there for. There were a couple of plants where they wanted to dig, which I would loose. I was impressed that they were willing to go the extra mile.
Description of Work: I got a bid from them for a patio and steps leading to a patio.

 + -1 moreBob is a perfectionist and doesn't just do things to and quot;get them done' but completes a project with the most up-to-date materials and with attention to detail. He will not be the cheapest; but if you want very high quality work with everything done PERFECTLY then this is the guy for you. He is well worth waiting for. I know I can trust him to do it right!
Description of Work: we needed the roof on our front porch replaced. It was originally plaster and was damaged due to a leak on the roofing above. Other contractors wanted to put drywall in this area and since it was outside I did not feel confortable with this. Bob not only replaced the roofing area but re routed the electrical so it was an up to date re installation over.

 + 8 moreHe did everything I have asked him to do and done it very well. Sometimes he is called out for an emergency but always returns as soon as he can. He can get very busy and I have had to wait a couple of weeks before he can get to me but if I need him right away he can always make time for a small job. He is easy to get along with and knows what he is doing.
Description of Work: Bob has done many repairs for me. He has replaced and painted cedar siding, replaced outdoor stairs with a cement pad, drywall repairs, replaced doors, painted and many other small repairs. He is now putting down hardwood floors building a closet and will be doing other things in the future. I have been very pleased with everthing he has done. He is very professional.

 + 1 moreI had an unusual problem with the wood surrounding my brick garage. Basically I had had the wood replaced before and it just rotte daway within a few years. I had more than one contractor look at it and they just wanted to replace the wood again. I am fortunate to have gotten several estimates because Bob THE han D Man was the only contractor whomwanted to figure out the reason why the problem was happening so he could fix it for good! He is a perfectionist and does excellent work. You will not be dissapoointed in his skills. You get what you pay for with Bob, he has integrity and is trustworthy.

 + 5 moreBob Demay is honest and hardworking. I feel totally comfortable having him work in my house when I'm not home. His prices are reasonable; I don't know the total price because I've paid for the various jobs throughout the past year it's taken to sell my home in this real estate market. Sometimes he gets busy with other jobs, and then it might take one or two weeks before he can get to my house, but if it's a rush job, he will also show up within a day or two. Once he starts a project, he works until he completes it-- even on Saturdays and Sundays! He is very knowledgeable about home repair and improvement. I highly recommend him.
Description of Work: My realtor recommended Bob Demay of The Han-D-Man to do various jobs around my house to prepare my house to sell. Bob Demay has installed hardwood floors in my dining room and living rooms, new bathroom cabinets, drywall repair, painted most of the interior of my house, installed GFCI outlets where needed, tuckpointing on my chimney, installed new interior and exterior light fixtures, ceiling fan, installed new closet door, fixed a toilet, plumbing leak. I had a big box store install vinyl flooring in my laundry room but they didn't install the trim or cut down the sliding pantry doors so they'd fit, so I called Bob and he fixed those for us. I'm sure I'm forgetting some of the other work he has done around the house.
