They (two employees) refused to order maple wood floor for me because I told them I don't like damaged wood and asked if they would take it back (the day before). So I drove all the way and they refuse to order. Could they not call me, cancel appointment and tell me they don't want to sell to me? I took my $1800, went to All Surface Flooring on Manchester, ordered the same wood from same manufacturer and it is perfect wood with no defects. Before I purchased, the owner said he guarantees everything he sells. He also gave me discount - just because. Skip Michael's flooring and go to All Surface Flooring on Manchester. They are excellent and they also have a contract with delivery company so you don't have to worry about that. They deliver inside the house too. Michaels' Flooring does not do that either. I feel bad for the owner. He lost $1800 just on me. God knows how much he lost all together because of those two employees.

It went just fine. The salesman was knowledgeable and helpful with regard to the specific products we were interested in viewing. Received a timely quote. We were delayed with our purchase, but the salesman honored our pricing on the original quote. The installers were on-time, courteous, efficient and competent.

Process is smooth. Service is very professional and on time.

The installers showed up on the day promised. We discussed what was to be done and then I left for work. I did not stay to supervise and I don't feel that I needed to. The install took 2 days and they left the house in great condition. We did not feel put out at all. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Michael?s Flooring installed hardwood through the main level of our home. The sales people were very detailed in the way they figured what we needed. The thing we liked best about the bid from Michael?s is that they showed every time we were paying for so that we could do a few things to save money. When the installers arrived they walked through and told us every step of how they were going to do the job. They then covered up all of our furniture and put plastic up in areas that we did not want to get really dusty. The installers did an amazing job from start to finish. We found that Michael?s price was very competitive, but what made the whole thing so great was how the whole job went with no issues. They did have to add a couple of moldings but we understood since the issue was with some flooring in the rooms with tile that they could not see prior to starting the installation

They came out and stripped everything down, pulling the carpet and chipping up the subfloor. Apparently, they were having issues with the floor, because the lead man told me that my "floors were talking to them" and that the floors "didn't want hardwood, they wanted carpet." Through all of the arguing that took place back and forth, I decided I no longer wanted them to do the work. I had already paid them for nearly everything, they had delivered the wood, and had already torn up the floor and left bare wood with nails sticking out. We wound up going through countless pairs of socks and my dog wound up with numerous splinters in his paws while I awaited the opportunity to be able to afford to hire someone else to do the job. I was so stressed over this situation that I became very sick and ended up in the hospital. I finally had to contact my lawyer to handle the rest, fighting with them to release the lien and end the contract.

They sent a wonderful carpenter who did an excellent job in no time at all.Not even a mess! Then, the stairs were to be redone. That became a huge problem that lasted from January 2013 to Sept 2013. In the end, they paid the extra money to hire a professional stair person to redo the job. The owner of Michaels told me they would do whatever to satisfy me...and they did. In the end, my stairs are beautiful. I just had to have patience for the long period it took. The people they sent to do the stains were messed up a few times, but it was taken care of.

Everything went smoothly, installer was very nice and did a great job.

At the time I felt like the price was fair. The installers incorrectly installed the toilet in the bathroom and Michael told me that he would pay for the repairs that the plumber needed to do to fix the problem. It was a $300 problem, but he did not honor his agreement or return numerous phone calls. Since the work wasn?t done right I would say that price was not fair. During the initial job their professionalism was an A, however when there was a problem, it became an ?F?.

It went very well. The installers were very professional and experienced. They took a lot of care to make sure the floors were installed correctly. The owner called after the installation to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. I'm happy with the look and quality of the floors, as well as the overall service experience. I plan to have Michael's do my hardwood floors, too.

Once carpet installed had to come back out to replace carpet. They determined it was the dye didn't match at the seams. After replacing it, the seams are still visible more than I personally think they should be. Tracking of footsteps are more than I expected
