LEVAN'S LANDCAPE & LAWN SERVICE

Found a flyer illegally tucked into our mailbox flag. We suspect it was because we have a "no soliciting" sign on our door, and that way they could claim they didn't see it. However, only a few other people on our street had them tucked into their flags, and I know some of them also have "no soliciting" signs. Any mailable matter not bearing postage and found as described above is subject to the same postage as would be paid if it were carried by mail. And I called our government, LeVAN's didn't have a permit to solicit either. I get that lawn care is a competitive business, but peppering the world with advertisements is annoying, so I and several people in our neighborhood have made it a point to deliberately NOT hire anyone advertising door to door, and a few have even stopped using services that they caught advertising this way.

We have been using him for 10 - 15 years. This price also included disposal. They did a good job cleaning up the hole area. It was honeysuckle and it was a hot mess, If there's ever an issue, you can call the owner directly and he will take care of it.

Yes, I would use this provider again.

Contracted with Levan's early last year to perform general lawn maintenance. The service was performed every other Tuesday to my satisfaction and trim bushes once a month or as needed. The workers were professional and courteous, did a great job on the lawn and bushes, arrived as scheduled without complaint. They cleaned up debris afterward and left the yard looking great. My son has been cutting my lawn this year, which is the only reason I am not still using Levan's. If I need to in the future, I would use their services again.

I have used this company for a least 5 years now. They mow and edge my lawn and have always done a great job. One year my regular guy Andy, found a bunny nest in the yard and made a teepee out of sticks to protect them and carefully trimmed around it. I love animals and was very impressed with the care taken. I have also used them for leaf and tree branch removal. Thier prices are always reasonable, they are always very efficient with thier time and get the job done quickly yet with quality. One of the things I like best is they have a small yellow pre-printed sticky note that they leave on your door or mail box. Says they were there and the price for the service preformed. Also, if they skipped the yard because it was too short (summer heat, slow growth) they check that box and let you know and of course don't charge you. I like knowing that they are conciencious enough to know when the lawn would be too stressed/damaged by a cut. They envoice by email which is great because I travel a lot. I'm able to communicate with them via email and let them know a check will be on the way. They are great! I would definately recommend this company and I will continue to use them.

Wayne arrived and performed the services requested. The work is exactly as requested and the clean up is wonderful. My lawn looks great and I know that they will be here every other Tuesday, which is the schedule they set up for me. I was offered the option of paying after each cut or being billed monthly. My invoice is emailed, which works great. I have given their number to some of my friends and neighbors, I hope they will use their service. I am very happy with the job they've done!

For the first time we took the summer off from mowing our yard and hired a company to do that. It was the best money we've spent! This company does a fast and efficient job meeting our lawncare needs. They edge the drive and walks nicely and trim everywhere as needed. For us it has been a very good value for what we have to spend to have them come. They have come about once a week all summer. If the weather is bad on their normal day, they do arrive on the next available day. We've been quite happy with their service and will use them again next summer.

Insufficient room to detail as necessary; I have reason to believe that manipulative "game playing" with invoicing & related efforts to communicate (most, this season, unresponded to) will escalate into increasing hassle (sensed this might occur which is why I continued efforts to keep communications clear, and occurred when discontinuing the service became necessary);I paid full price for incomplete work for 95 percent of payments made; on three occasions that I noticed, there was minor damage to property. Two no shows from last season we agreed as resolved (or why, with no invoices after resolution, would he show up unannounced & perform service 6 months later?)is now attempted to be used as ammunition at worst, manipulated confusion at best(and/or agreed partial make up session is now billable time?). Have emailed Angie's List 2x for input before getting to this point, to better know area customs and provide every benefit of doubt. I don't want this to lead to more retaliations.

A VERY LARGE MOWER WAS USED TO CUT OUR SMALL YARD. WE WERE NOT THAT HAPPY WITH THE OUTCOME. TRIMMING WAS NOT ALWAYS DONE AND NEITHER WAS EDGING WHICH WAS AGREED UPON. BILL LEVAN WAS VERY PLEASANT TO WORK WITH HOWEVER. WE DID ASK FOR ADDITIONAL QUOTES FOR LAWN CARE SERVICE AND NEVER RECEIVED THEM. WE WENT WITH THIS COMPANY AS NO OTHERS WOULD RETURN OUR CALLS.

MOWING IS OK. BLOWING IS GETTING BETTER. CLEANING YARD EDGES NOT SO HOT. SCHOOL KIDS LEAVE A FEW CANDY WRAPPERS ON LAWN AS THEY PASS ALONG. (I AM WORKING ON CORRECTING THIS.) MEANWHILE, LEVAN'S MOWS OVER IT AND MULTIPLIES THE LITTER. I HAVE NOT SEEN ANY EFFORT TO CLEAN ANY OF IT UP. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE ARTICLES WRITTEN ON REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS FOR CONSUMERS WITH REGARD TO DIFFERENT SERVICE CATEGORIES. IN THE HANDS OF SERVICE PROVIDERS AND CONSUMERS IT WOULD GO A LONG WAY TO PUTTING EVERYONE ON THE SAME PAGE INSTEAD OF PLAYING GUESSING GAMES WITH RESPECT TO WHAT ARE THE QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS OF AN A RATED LAWN AND YARD SERVICE. I KNOW A FEW, BUT PROBABLY NOT ALL. I AM CERTAIN THAT I AM PROBABLY TOO PERFECTIONISTIC ACROSS THE BOARD. (BY EVERYDAY 21C. STANDARDS, THAT IS. IF I WERE HOLLYWOOD DIVA THAT WOULD BE ANOTHER STORY, RIGHT?) YOU WOULD THINK WITH ECONOMY AND JOB AVAILABILITY AS IT IS, ALL OF US WOULD BE GETTING A TAD MORE "DIVA" TREATMENT! THEY ARE RESPONSIVE ON PHONE CALLS, AND THAT IS THE BIG THING FOR ME, BECAUSE THE LAST GUY I USED WASN'T. THEY ALSO LEAVE STRIPING ON THE LAWN, SO IT LOOKS VERY NICE.
