+ -1 moreHe is also thorough. About eight years ago I had paid huge sums of money to a franchise drain company who had even come and taken photos. They said I would need the basement floor broken up and new drains laid. They did a very quick and slapdash job with the cables and started trying to sell me new drains. I wanted a second opinion and was lucky enough to happen upon Mr Grant. He arrived and said he would see if cabling the drains could fix the problem. He cleaned out roots and debris all the way to the street. He spent a couple of hours and did not stop until he had actually cabled from the house to the street and from the street to the house. When he finished everything worked perfectly and I didn't need new sewer pipes at all. His work saved me thousands.
Description of Work: This summer, after an enormous rainstorm which completely overloaded the storm drains we had water back up in the basement and then go down again leaving smelly silt behind. Mr. Grant was very busy with work but managed to fit us in. He had worked for us before and as usual with him, he worked quickly, efficiently and was very tidy and clean about how he left the job site. He does not overcharge and always gives good value. While working in the basement he heard water dripping and investigated. He called me immediately and pointed out that there was water dripping from behind the electric panel. I was able to call 911 who immediately sent firefighters who shut off the electricity until an electrician could make the wiring safe.
