Decks & More Construction

Don't recall them ever being on time. Said they would show up at 9am, and often not get to the house until Noon or 1pm. Appeared to not care how long the projects took. When working on deck, they cut a slice into the deck with circular saw...just left it. A responsible contractor, first of all, would have never let that happen, but surely would've replaced the damaged board. They dumped all the extra dirt from the deck holes in places on my property instead of hauling off or at least asking if they can dump the access dirt. All the dirt they piled on the side of the house next to the foundation, has rotted my wood fence and causes a muddy mess each time it rains. Also the incline of the deck roof is so minor that it does collect water on top, and we did question the lack of slope. We were told it was in "code", but don't believe it is proper. I had the opportunity to get on my roof with a roofer, and saw first hand that water was settled on the deck roof and not draining off. The bathroom work was ok, drywall not perfect. Had a plumbing leak in which they used a bowl for until they could get around to fixing it, this was just during the bathroom upgrade, had no leaks prior to them replacing sink and vanity. The marble product they used for the master bath is beautiful, so overall the "products" were not the issue. They are very nice guys, but their lack of urgency, care, punctuality and professionalism really do them in. I would NEVER rehire them.
