Dan O'Hare Painting

excellent...well done and timely

Dan is an amazing painter for both interior and exterior work. He has come to our home several times in the last few years and each time we have been beyond pleased with his work. He is super responsive, very punctual, works fast, and does a great job. We have recommended him to several neighbors who have complemented our recent exterior "face lift". He also fixed the plaster work on our bathroom ceiling which had been peeling off.

Dan's team painted our bathroom very poorly. There were streaks all over the place where another coat was needed. I honestly couldn't believe it was left that way. I had to spend an hour going over the numerous spots they missed and cleaning up the unclean edges which isn't something you want to do when your hire a professional. I would have simply told Dan, but once they got there to paint I never heard anything from him ever again.

Were very professional and courteous. Went well overall and looks great. Only issue I had was that I had just repainted the door trim and there were numerous paint marks on the side of the trim that I had to go back and repaint.

Dan and his team were fantastic. They showed up on time and were pleasant and polite. I am very pleased with the professional painting job they did- the rooms they painted look great. I would highly recommend.

I called Dan and the first time I spoke to him, he said he was going out of town and he said he was going to call me back when he gets back. I never got the call so I gave him another call and he said he can come today, Monday March 7th @ 12pm and so far no show and calls.

Dan is a true professional and a great guy. He suggested I buy the paint at Sherwin Williams and get his discount. The paint is terrific it covers in one coat. I couldn't be happier.

First, Dan's crew arrived promptly at 8:00 am. They toured the room and immediately put together their plan. The team as a whole worked on caulking the trim and touching up unpainted areas. After that, one painter remained to roll the walls and paint the trim. The paint looks great. I am very pleased. Also, they didn't leave a huge mess for me to finish. Everyone was courteous and professional. I will definitely reach out to Dan for all future painting needs.

I recommend him highly. His work is excellent. Good attitude, work ethic, good people working for him and great follow-up. We will be using him again soon to power-wash our cedar and re-stain.

Since I was unable to meet him I had someone meet him for this estimate. He was able to assess and break out cost for me and followed-up with no pressure. Due to my current budget I was unable to have him complete the job but hope to use him on other possible jobs in the future. Super nice guy!

Dan was a consummate professional and did a great job. He also did "extras" without charging extra. His quality was excellent and he is both personable and efficient. Will definitely recommend and use again.

We have hired Dan for a couple of projects. He is very professional and responsive. His work is high quality and price is reasonable.

Very pleased with Dan's work. He gave us an estimate on Saturday and after making the decision to use Dan, he was painting the following Wednesday. I gave him the paint code to match our existing walls and he took care of everything. Cleaned up work area, moved our furniture out and put all furniture back. Very professional. Everything looks really good.

This person's name was given to me by my realtor. I normally get all my names from Angie's list, but trusted my realtor on this one. She did not have personal experience with him, but her close friend supposedly used him & was very happy. My experience was dramatically different. He appeared to know what he was doing. We discussed all the needed work & he provided detailed estimate. The work had to commence on a day I was not home due to the timeline crunch to get the house on the market. He called me the first day prior to my arriving home to tell me the color on the walls was a little lighter than the one I had chosen. Upon my arrival I was horrified. The paint was glaringly white. The plaster patches were clearly visible from foyer without even getting close. Very lumpy & most looked worse that they did just as cracks. The patches had already been painted over, which you only do if you think you are finished with them. Upon further investigation, the reason the walls were so white is because it was extra-white paint with no tint. Not what we discussed. They painted over dirt on the trims and spindles. Upon talking with him, he requested to come back & fix the work already "completed". My husband & I felt too uncomfortable letting someone back in our home that took such little pride in his work. We paid him for the day of work and fired him. I'm unsure if he's actually the one that completed the work or if he had others doing it for him. I feel that this doesn't really matter though since he is ultimately responsible.
