We couldn’t be happier with our decision to go with Andy. This was a large project (for us) and there were just so many details we weren’t prepared to deal with that it became a bit overwhelming. Andy and his crew offered great suggestions and as a result the outcome was far better than we had imagined. His estimate was detailed with respect to costs and time, and it turned out to be right on the mark. A big concern for many people going through this type of project is having “strangers” in your home, especially when you can’t be there all the time. This was never an issue with Andy or his crew. They became fast friends with us and not once in the five weeks did we feel like they were intruding. In fact, when the project was over, our little dog Sadie missed her new buddies, especially Tom, with whom she really became attached. Here are some of the things done by Andy: Old walls removed to the studs Pantry removed and modified to fit refrigerator New drywall installed – walls and ceiling (dust was always kept to a minimum) Electrical wiring replaced from breaker box Plumbing replaced New range hood installed and vented through exterior brick wall Corner wall modified to fit flat screen TV Framework built for dining room wall and floor cabinets (these turned out beautifully) Hardwood floors spliced and matched where old appliances were Custom hardwood floor boarder between kitchen/dining room where wall was removed Backsplash glass tile installed Refrigerator, range (converted from electric to gas), dishwasher and garbage disposal installed Custom corner cabinet fabricated and installed (this turned out great) Coordinated and supervised ordering and installation of all cabinets and granite tops (this was a big help) Removed 100’ old concrete driveway and replaced with exposed aggregate Designed and poured new 16’x16’ patio with brick border Poured new 25’sidewalk from patio to driveway Andy and his crew did a great job with everything. They were especially good at cleaning up the mess and even replanted some of our flowers that ended up too close to the new driveway. We have no reservations about recommending Andy for any job. In fact, he has since done some repair work on my son’s house, and is set to do some tile work for one of my co-workers. Thanks for everything Andy. I called asking for some small projects at a rental home I own. Based on the reviews I saw on here that people called and had a great turn-around made me think this would be a great encounter, but when I explained to Terri that these were small jobs, she informed me that were "booked through fall." Now, that may be true, but it seemed suspicious since others were reviewing that Andy's was able to come right out and help. I got the impression that she didn't want to bother with a small job, which is a shame since my rental property count is continuing to grow.

The job was text book perfect. My only complaint was that it took so long to get back to me to do the job. My friend who does minor plumbing though it was beautiful job.

After I called Andy's for an estimate I was given a day and time when they would be by to take a look at the work to be done. I was impressed by how careful he was in making up his estimate. He talked everything over with us and explained exactly what would be done to have it accomplished. Our estimate was sent by e-mail as promised and after acceptance of the estimate we were given a date for the work to be done. We were called at 8 am the morning of the repairs and were advised they would be at our house at 10:00 am. Andy and his crew arrived on time and promptly went to work. All of the work requested was done by the time they left in the afternoon. We were very pleased how careful the whole crew was in doing their assigned tasks. They made sure we knew what was going on asll the time they were here. We have had contractors at our house before and they always left a great mess. His crew cleaned everything up so well you would not know they had been here, except for the work being done. I also noticed that the boss kept a careful eye on everyone and made sure the job was done properly. I highly recommend this company. In fact we have already discussed some more work that can be done in the fall.

The entire experience from speaking with Terri to set up appointments to the punctuality & helpfulness of Andy and his contractor was great. This was my 2nd time having Andy do work for me. The first time was to replace a garbage disposal. I was very pleased immediately after the jobs were completed and a year later I am still very pleased

Andy did an excellent job. He came to look at the job first, and then scheduled the work for a later date. He came a little bit earlier than the appointment time. They couldn't have been any better. They did an excellent job. They were able to accomplish everything in one day. They were very professional and cleaned up well afterwards.

His office responded quickly to our e-mail inquiries and he make a visit beforehand to check out the problem and what parts were needed. He mailed an estimate ahead of time, and showed up for his scheduled fix-it appointment on time. The job was completed correctly and he cleaned up before he left. We would use his services again.

The work was perfect! The sliding door works like a charm, the double door looks much better, the window frame is great -- love the shelf. in short, we could not have been more pleased. In addition, we were very impressed with the way they cleaned up the work areas when they were finished. They were very knowledgeable and very professional. We are making a list of more projects, and look forward to working with them again in the very near future.

Andy and one of his workers came out on time. The work was done very professional I am very satisfied with the work. I will schedule for Andy to do more work on my landscaping next month. I would recommend Andy's Service to anyone.

I called several times to schedule an appointment finally a week later the wife called back and scheduled. On the date he was scheduled he never showed I called several times and 3 hours later the wife called and said he got stuck at another job. VERY Unprofessional company! !!

Andy is great to work with! He came out to estimate in a very timely fashion after my initial call. I thought the back door needed to be rehung as it would not open. After looking at our jammed back door it was determined that the deck was putting undue pressure on the bay area of my kitchen. This in turn caused the door to be jammed and not level. He and my husband talked about options and came up with a plan. The estimate was sent to us quickly. We thought Andy's assessment of the deck issues made sense, the price seemed fair, and we felt a sense of confidence. The job was mostly outside so there was a bit of a weather delay.......that was not anyone's fault. Just STL normal winter. Andy and his worker got the job done in a relatively short time. The work area was kept clean. Andy kept me informed about the job along the way. There was some concern that kitchen floor tiles may be broken when the bay area was lifted, but that luckily did not happen. Andy was up front about the possibility from the onset. He was very careful to only raise the area a fraction at a time, check tiles & windows for movement after each lift, and finally got the area where he wanted it and most importantly got the back door to open. Andy is very honest, nice to work with, and capable. He even reduced our final cost as the job didn't entail as much as he had estimated. I will definitely call Andy's Home Repair for future work.

|Communication with this company was challenging and I found even their written correspondence to be unpleasant and unprofessional. |The fan/light started having problems about a month after installation (shorting out like the connections weren't tight). Normally I would re-contact the company to resolve the problem, but frankly I'd rather pay extra to someone else than have to deal with this company again. Given how unpleasant they were initially, I can only imagine how much worse it would be trying to resolve a problem.

In mid-October, I called this business because their listing of services included general handy work and concrete repair. On their listing, for service area they have: Service Area: St. Louis County and Portions Of St. Charles County After discussing my issues and possible solutions, the woman who answered the phone asked for my address. When I gave it, she said she would have to respectfully decline providing a bid because they don't service my area. My area is located in So. County. The woman on the phone was very nice, however, I consider this rude treatment of potential customers. First, update your listing to say you don't work in So County. Second, ask for the address first, so both of our time is not wasted if you are not going to service certain areas.

The work went very well. The large job, repairing the ceiling in a living room due to water damage, took a lot of skilled work and a week to finish. It looks great. They chose to put drywall over the entire ceiling because that would make the whole ceiling look nice, consistent and new. Afterwards they prepped the ceiling for painting, painted the ceiling, then painted the living room walls. The four other jobs were done quickly and efficiently. I guess for Andy's men, they were easy jobs because they didn't have trouble with any of them. They were friendly, on time and didn't mind questions. On one day, I couldn't be there. I was able to leave the house keys with a neighbor and Andy's got on with the work without me. When I arrived, the workman was doing exactly what he needed to be doing. I would definitely hire Andy's Home and Business Repair again. I am very pleased with the work and the whole experience.

It went very well. Andy called back promptly when I first contacted him. He showed up when he said he would to get the job started. Andy made a recommended change to what we going to do on my side garage door, which cost a little more but it was a good idea. I was glad he suggested it. The crew did the work on time and did a good job. They missed a little thing and Andy came back and fixed it. Overall, I would call Andy again.

They ordered the door, when the door was delivered (which was very heavy) they were waiting at my home for the delivery truck to arrive and stored it in the garage.They finished installing the door in 2 days, put a new frame and cleaned up everything. They were very friendly and professional. Few months ago they fixed couple of window panes that had water damage. The manufacturer of the windows said they cannot fix it and recomended replacing both windows. However Andy and his men repaired them and they look like brand new now for a price much less than getting new windows.

Andy showed up to provide an estimate. However, never showed any courtesy provide any estimate or even if he declined to bid. I had to call and followup and find out that they declined to bid the work. Well, i wish there was some level of professionalism.

Andy and Bill spent three hours at my parent's home doing the work described above. While more work needed to be done than was originally agreed to, Andy did not charge extra for it. Both of my parents suffer from dementia/Alzheimer's, and both Andy and Bill were very patient and kind to them. They did an excellent job on the work, they were efficient and left the work areas spotless. We were extremely happy with the repairs. We would highly recommend them and hope to use their services again in the future.

Andy's estimate was the cheapest of the people who got back to us (there was one cheaper estimate, but that company did not call us back after we called them to accept their bid). Andy also gave us the advice that we should stay away from six-panel doors if resale value was a factor, because they are waning in popularity. He recommended a few other styles, one of which was the two-panel Roman doors that we selected, and they are a very attractive style indeed. The actual installation of the doors went well also, over a period of three days. Andy and co. made certain all the doors fit very well and opened/closed smoothly. He demonstrated the best procedure for painting the doors so we could paint them later. Everything looks great, and we are very happy with our purchase, and with Andy's work. If we have more projects in the future, we would use them again.

We were never given a specific start time, but they arrived on the date they said the would. I have a TimberTec composite deck that is fourteen years old. The deck has never looked better. Andy even repaired some minor torn siding as part of the deal. We are very impressed and we will absolutely use Andy again.
