Really well. Andy and his team were always professional, creative and everything was completed in a timely manner. I feel very comfortable dealing with Andy and know I will get a honest answer always. His prices are very competitive and the work he completed for me was excellent. I'm starting an Andy's List of all the projects, big and small, that I will be calling him for. In this day and age, a pure Diamond!

The company stated that they were "not interested" because they wanted to do "remodeling" jobs. I specifically searched for their company under "handymen" looking for someone who accepts smaller jobs. I then responded back to the text thread, asking as to whether they would be interested in a particular larger job I needed done, and never received a response. I wouldn't have given them all F's; some of the categories deserved a "not applicable" but that was not an option.

Great- they matched the color and 'wood-work' very nicely. They were professional, did a great job and we can now enjoy our deck without worry that it will fall off our house!

The job took a little longer than anticipated, but Andy, Bill, and Chris also did more than I expected! When they ran into the problem with the piping under the bathtub, Andy stayed late fixing and improving the builder's issue that day so that we could have our water turned back on. I didn't expect them to haul away the old countertop, repair our cabinetry, get the new (very heavy) vanity up the stairs, or install the pulls, but they just did what they saw could be done (without adding to the invoice)! I wasn't sure if the estimated materials price included the tile (that we bought) but I was happy to pay the invoice for the excellent and thorough quality of work that we received.

I did not proceed with hiring the company, despite a return call, it was clear that they were uninterested in my business. I left a message and received a call back a few hours later from the office. During the message I explained that I had a rental property in Missouri which needed some minor handyman work and that I was also hoping to find a company that I could work with long-term for future handyman needs. During my phone call, I explained what was needed in the bathroom (I never got to my needs in the kitchen) and was given a number of negative responses. The possible reason for the problem was explained to me as well as the possible solution. I asked how much the work would possibly cost, and after being given a quote, I was told that she was giving me an "exception" because they normally do not work in rental properties. (The fact that this was a rental was not new information in this conversation, I'd stated such in my prior voicemail as well as the information that I lived out of state.) The reason she provided for not generally doing work in rental properties was that often after the work was completed she had experienced tenants immediately breaking what was done, I explained that my tenants were older, long term renters from me for 10 years, prior homeowners, and that under no circumstance would they engage in such behavior. I stated that it sounded as if this was not a match because she had a number of concerns. She then stated to me that her concern was not getting paid. I replied by stating that I owned a home where I live, as well as the home that I had called about, and that I had never not paid a bill. I reiterated that their company was clearly not the right choice for me and that she should have a nice day.

The job went very well and I'm more than pleased with the finished product. I got an estimate from another company and it was ridiculous.

It went very well. The team were polite, helpful and cleaned up after themselves!

Two men finished the job pretty quickly and they were very personable.

Andy came as scheduled and confirmed with me the work to be done. He began the work promptly by himself. I stayed and worked from home in case anything was needed. While home I would check in with him on the progress. He was very neat, cleaning up constantly. On the 3rd day he had help and they finished the work, again cleaning and even doing more than what was on the work order. I had a place on the ceiling of the porch that needed to be scraped and they kindly did that and primed without charge. Best of all, the original estimate was higher than what the materials cost, so Andy reduced the charge and saved me $300. He could have very well charged me the entire estimate. Very honest!!! The work looks great! I would certainly recommend their services! Thank you Andy!

The master john was always skidding and not easy to use. He found a crack in the base and went out and purchased a new toilet and how he hefted it to my home was a feat in itself. He fixed light fixtures, put in a new Sunbrella on my deck, power washed my deck and completely rearranged the outdoor rug. He fixed a leak in the basement bathroom wall, that had to be smoothed over with primer and paint. There are many more things he was able to smooth over, and too numerous to list. He had a journeyman helping him, and their exchanges were always pleasant, as the new man was eager to learn from Andy. Again, I will always be his client, and was so happy with the way he talked and explained to me

Their bid was twice as much and there was one thing that they had excluded because it was unclear what the issue was. Their quote was $2200 and they didn't include everything. I was impressed with all the companies that gave me a quote. They were all fine and they all sounded like they knew what they were talking about. They all had good reviews from Angie's List but the difference was their price was twice as much which is a huge difference. Their quote was about $2200 with almost everything. They excluded one issue that I had because it wasn't clear what the issue was. It wasn't unreasonable but I had two other quotes that quoted me everything and Andy's was twice as much and yet excluded a portion. It wasn't as if I was using somebody from a Union. If I was using a Union person and they charged a little bit more, I would be okay with that. Because to me when someone is in a Union, you are purchasing a particular quality and standard of workmanship. But it wasn't, these people were all master electricians too. It thought they were fine. They seemed to know what they were doing. They all gave me the same information about what the possibilities would be with different my issues. I gave them a B on responsiveness because they didn't include anything related to that one issue. They were professional.

Performed work according to quote and honored original pricing. Was very considerate of time and cleaned up after work was completed.

Andy and his helper came punctually every day. He always explained what he was doing and why so that we understood every step of the process. The work went quickly which we were grateful for. We had many questions about possible choices for the dining room and family room floor covering and he explained our choices. His experience and understudying of renovation techniques were very evident. I would hire him to do any renovation projects I had. I had absolutely no complaints.

Andy and Tommy were great to work with. They are both animal people so they kept an eye on my geriatric houdini dog and let him in an out as needed. When they left the first day, the work area was clean and tidy and when they finished on the second day, not a speck of dust was in sight. The finished work was exactly what I asked for and it looked 100% better. Bonus - The final price came in approximately $250.00 below the bid!

.Andy and his helper arrived exactly when they said they would. They set to work right away. they expressed concern for our cats as there would be open spaces while they were worikng.The work was to take two days and at the end of the first they made sure the door was secure.Their work was very thorough and professional. The door has a very finished look and is beautiful. I would recommend their work to anyone and I will use his business again.

Went great. The doors were repaired quickly and to our satisfaction. Included some additional work on his part which was completed early. Cleaned up after he was done. Very satisfied.

Andy and his colleague Tom were pleasures to work with. Andy was very knowledgeable and very fair in his pricing. They did the work in a timely fashion and were meticulous and detailed oriented. Will certainly call again in the future.

Andy did great work and was always ready with a solution to a number of problems. I'll use again.

The door was supplied by an out of state manufacturer and was relatively expensive since it was made to order. Also the design was a "barn door" style, so it was something that none of us had any experience with before. Andy had checked the measurement at top of the staircase where I wanted it installed and thought that it would work fine. I had some concerns since one manufacturer had indicated that such a door would need extra support because of the weight. It came intact (although UPS lost the shipment for around 10 days). However the hardware (including the rail, rollers and many screws) all had to be mounted on the door and the wall. Instructions with the door were minimal at best. Andy carefully laid everything out and measured, marked, drilled the metal pieces and had it up and in place within a couple of hours. It turned out exactly as I had hoped and works very smoothly primarily due to his skill.

Contractor's support staff was courteous and helpful in scheduling the appointment to prepare a bid to do the work. However when Andy arrived, admittedly we were not fully prepared. He looked at part of the 1st floor and did not view the second floor at all. We secured bids from two additional companies and their bids were $2,4000 to $3,500 projecting 2 to 3 days to complete the job. Andy's bid was $10,000 and my husband called him to see whether he had ever been paid that amount for an interior residential painting job. After considerable disagreements their call ended. When Andy neglected to view the full job I questioned his interest in the job. His outrageous bid confirmed my suspicion. BEWARE OF ANDY'S!!

Superb work and craftmanship. I cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism and thoroughness. I added some work during their visit and they were very accommodating. Despite these additions Andy still managed to finish below budget. I will definitely use them again.
