Description of Work: We had several needs, one being a kitchen faucet. Several people had looked at it and just said .... "use silicone at base" That did not keep faucet from jiggling around. This young man looked at the problem .... the source of the problem .... and FIXED it. Our house will soon be on the market and any things that need to be addressed ... Andy's will be who I call. Annie Vogt the price may have been lower than $200. I cant find receipt, but, to have that faucet issue fixed worth any price!

Description of Work: Andy's Home and Business repair, is an amazing company. They look after you from beginning to end, the lovely lady in the office who makes the appointments to Andy who comes and does the inspection and estimate and then to his team who does the work. Andy was there also to make sure every little thing was done right. He took his time to figure out all the mistakes that were made by the last constructor. Andy's Home and Business repair were clear or what needed to be done and clear on the cost of each job and the time that was needed. I think I was pretty lucky the day Ms Tori from Andy's Repair answered the phone and calmly assured me that Andy could fix anything and she was right. - Front door repair -included cutting out stain glass and installing new stain glass (He looked everywhere to find the right stain glass) - Repair patio door, fixing and re-working locks and making the door functional - tuck pointing - install screen door - fix bathroom door and lock - replace handle in toilet/adjust float - fix cupboard door/fixing counter tops and matching paint Not included in the job was fixing the front door because it didn't open and close properly They were amazing

Description of Work: First, I would like to apologize for the lateness in the filing of this report. It is in no way a refIection on Andy as he is one of the most thorough and detail oriented people in the home repair business that I have ever met. I have a set of concrete steps in my backyard that go down to a door that enters into my basement. At the base of these steps is a concrete pad this is approximately 3' X 3'. Over the years, this concrete pad has deteriorated and cracked (as concrete will do). In the middle of this concrete pad is an area drain. There was water constantly running underneath the steps into the drain, even when it hadn't rained for a week. Eventually, water started coming into our basement. Andy insisted (rightfully so) that we determine/identify the source of the water under our stairwell slab as stormwater, sewer water or a high water table/natural spring. Addressing this underlying water problem was necessary before patching the concrete or repouring the concrete. That meant some work on my part. I had to get MSD and Missouri American Water involved. Anyone reading this report will know how difficult and time consuming that was. But, persistence paid off. The conclusion was reached that there is no sense in fighting Mother Nature so Andy devised a plan to provide a relief drain for the high water table. He then did an excellent job of repouring the concrete (with a tapered landing towards the drain) and a very professional brush finish.

Description of Work: Andy installed new medicine cabinet, hung towel bars (3), assembled Smoker. Andy was very professional.

Description of Work: Repaired hole in concrete that was washed away due to heavy rains.

Description of Work: Protective fencing was attached around the bottom of a storage shed. The bathroom and the kitchen sinks had to have the plumbing redone.

Description of Work: Andy installed 220 electric to my pool area and installed a pool heat pump. I have used Andy before and I will use him again. I don't have to get several estimates because I know he will be fair and do a great job. I have a list of things I need him to do, just need the money!
