We recently bought a house and I wanted to have the furnace inspected as it's an older unit. The inspector said it worked but it was old, and I wanted to have an actual HVAC technician check it out for me. I originally scheduled the appointment for a Friday, but when I was unexpectedly home several days earlier, I called to see if they could fit me in that day so I didn't have to take time off of work. They were great about arranging schedules to send someone. Two hours later, Jeromy was at my door. Jeromy was my service technician and he was fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgable and gave a lot of great advice. My furnace is from 1998 and my AC unit is about 20 years old, so I know a whole system replacement is in my (oh too near) future. Jeromy isnpected the furnace and taught me all about it while he was inspecting it - things to look out for, how some things should work, problems I might have it coming years, what I can do in the future for better efficiency, etc. He also explained to me about the benefits of a whole home humidifier since the air in my house was so dry. It's a problem that I explained to the scheduler when I made the appointment. He told me about the different types of humidifiers, how they work and the differences I would feel in the air. He also mentioned that it could save me some money because the furnace would run less. I told him that my AC was old and would probably need a whole new system too, and he offered to look at the AC unit since he was already here. We talked about my budget and how much a whole system would cost (very basic estimate) so that I could start saving now before I need to replace everything. I learned a lot and Jeromy was great. I feel like I know more about my furnace and things to look for in the future. I would definitely recommend him and Vogel!

I have used Vogel for several years now. I have a maintenance contract with them, and they come out twice a year to service my furnace. Their prices are very competitive (they usually give a $25 rebate to bring it to $74 per cleaning). I always find their employees to be very professional and thorough. They cleaned my unit this spring, and a month later, the capacitor went. Even though there was no way they could have caught that in the cleaning, they waived the service charge, which I thought was very nice. I would recommend Vogel.

My husband and I love these guys! We have them come and do a clean and check every Spring and Fall. Unfortunately this past summer when it was 110 degrees out we had to call them for an emergency visit. They came out and looked at it that very night. We needed a new compressor and unit, but they very kindly got someone out to us to install it within 48 hours. They are always courteous, prompt, clean up all messes, and answer all of my annoying questions!

They did a professional and excellent job. This company was on time, efficient, and kept us informed throughout the process. Our roof hasn't leak since and we are very satisfied.

They are an excellent company and they have great rates. They also do sheet metal. I live on the second floor so it was quite a job.

The estimated price was $20000. I think that they are probably the premier heating and air conditioning outfit in the St. Louis area. They were extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future.

We have had a maintenance agreement with Vogel Heating and Cooling for over 5 years. Every 6 months they call us to find out when it would be convenient for them to come over and clean our A/C or furnace. My Mother is elderly and hard of hearing and the technicians are very kind, respectful and patient with her. We have been so happy with them that we had them put in a new furnace in 2007. They work very neatly. When our A/C goes we are going to use them.

The vent cleaning took about 4 hours. The technician was very thorough, and the vents were extremely filthy. I had lived in the house for 12 years and never had them cleaned. The technician said he thought they had never been cleaned. His brush kicked up some plumes of dust out of the vents he cleaned. He found gravel in the return vent underneath the slab. He did a good job of vacuuming up the exhausted dust. I wasn't able to catch his name. When the old furnace was removed, he cleaned out the old vent opening and did an excellent job. I am very happy that I got the vents cleaned at the same time as the furnace install. The cleaning tech also offered to clean out my dryer vent at no charge, even though he had to swap out a different size hose and brush. The job wasn't cheap, but it was done right!

I spent about $70 the last time I used them. They came out, but at that point of time when they showed up everything worked how it should have. They did a diagnostics and they said that everything was working fine. This was the second time I had him out and I can say that I am glad that they did not try to tell me that something was wrong with my system when everything seemed to be okay. They did not try to sell me something I did not need. When I did call them out to work on my heater and it was a holiday and is the worst time I could possibly need some help, they did come out. They were punctual and courteous, and they did the repairs that were needed.

Excellent experience. I got 4 different estimates from HVAC companies. The Vegel salesperson explained in detail for the systems work and gave me several different options. The worked with me on the pricing and on rebates. The installers were very neat and efficient. They explained in detail how to work the thermostat. I would recommend them highly.

Proposal was accurate and specific. Response time and manner were good We selected a different contractor whose price was about 40% lower.

We call Vogel every now and then when we feel our AC or heater needs servicing or cleaning. We have two systems in our home, one for each floor and they put in one of them a couple of years ago. They did a fine job and we continue to use them. When our AC went down then, they were out by the next day. They are fast, excellent, knowledgeable and clean in our home.

Vogel Heating & Cooling came and found that the unit kept locking up. He came at 9 pm on Sunday night to see what was wrong with the unit and got it temporarily fixed. It was the middle of Summer and he saved me. Then when the pump came in a few weeks later, he came and installed it. I am extremely happy with them and would definitely use them again. They were very honest.
