 + -1 moreThe technician was able to clean the parts on the gas fireplace and got it started within the hour. Only had to pay the service charge. He was persistant in getting it started and no new parts were needed.
Description of Work: I needed someone to come out that day to check a gas fireplace. No one was able to come out but they said they would fit me in the next morning. I had no idea why it wasn't starting.

 + -1 moreWe liked their selection and we had used them before over the years just buying different things from them. We were familiar with them. We had gotten another bid and they were well under that. We also liked the product that they were offering. We did some research on it and we thought that it was the best for us to go with. They were very honest and upfront with us. So far, the fireplace is working out great.
Description of Work: Victorian Sales put in a total new fireplace for us.

Description of Work: I bought a fireplace from them spent about $800....their service has been terrible...I spent another $125 for their serviceman to check the logs because they were causing soot on the fireplace and the ceiling...he said he fixed the problem...it was the end of the season last year.....started them up this year and the same problem....I have scheduled their serviceman 3 times....no one showed up...no call no nothing.....they did call once to tell me it was going to be late....I called and rescheduled......and guess what....no one showed up again and no phone call just terrible terrible service...but they sure did want to sell me the $800 set of logs....

 + -1 moreOverall, the installation went very well. I did a lot of the preparatory work, but didn't feel qualified to do the actual installation of the fireplace and chimney. Even though it was and quot;direct ventand quot; we had to run the chimney up through the attic and roof. The installer did an excellent job of getting everything put in and secure. Unfortunately there was a problem with the ignitor on the fireplace, so they had to order a replacement. It took two more attempts to get a working part, but in the end it all performed as expected. Victorian Sales was very good about getting back to us and coming out with the replacement parts.
Description of Work: We purchased and had installed a Valor direct vent gas fireplace.
