The Deck Doctor

The workmanship was excellant. I was concerned that my older railings would not match the new flooring but after cleaning and staining it looks like an entirely new deck. I obtained several estimates from local contractors for this job. The Deck Doctor was not my lowest estimate but was one-third the cost of my highest estimate. Jason IS The Deck Doctor and takes pride in his work. Your cost goes towards the work and not an office full of paper-pushers and salesmen. Job was performed and payment in full was made. The spraying of the deck did not cover well, some areas not sprayed at all.Company inspected the deck and stated the work met standards. Company did not return last email or phone call. Deck had to be treated again by some other company.

Our old deck was literally rotting out, growing small plants and completely unsafe for our toddler. After receiving several other outrageous bids, we happened upon Jason. He agreed to meet us very early in the morning for an estimate, provided a quote quickly that was accuate and very reasonable. He handled the permitting process and provided a lien waiver once the main bulk of material was delivered. He arranged a payment plan that made us feel comfortable (he is a sole proprietorship) and always kept us informed of the schedule. The entire project start to finish took approximately 3 weeks, but with the exception of the demolition of the old deck, all the work was performed by Jason personally. He never tried to upsell us or pressure us into anything at all and was always happy to explain our options. While he may not have the most professional appearance or business (outdated business cards, no website, etc), his work was of great quality and we are very happy with our new deck.
