Spectrum Cleaning and Restoration

They are ok. I would probably recommend them. They missed some areas, and when had to have them come back. They have kept their price consistent for several years. We got in on an initial rate, and they have kept that rate for several years. They do respond when you call. That was my only complaint that they missed some areas.

I have a service agreement with the company and I have renewed with them three years in a row. Obviously, I like them. They always call me. I never have to call them. They call me and say "Hey, it's time." I would use this provider again in the future.

Chris Keeton was my technician and we was very professional and friendly. He took his time and did a fantastic job cleaning my carpets. He really did a great job getting the stains out and they really look like new. I have recommended Spectrum to my family and friends and I will be using them again in the future.

I actually first called another company first and was told I would be called back within "10 minutes or up to an hour, I don't know." I was called back in 20 minutes by someone who told me they would be at my house in about 45 mins, but they would only be there to survey the situation and go over the costs. Based on their assessment, they would then dispatch a crew. When I asked what time I could expect the clean-up to arrive, I was told 7 pm that evening. I found this to be unacceptable. At this point (~3:25 pm)I called Spectrum. I spoke to Grace who took my information and said she would contact a crew and call me right back. She returned my call and five minutes and told me that a crew would be arriving between 4:30 and 5:30. Ralph C. from the Spectrum crew called me at around 4 pm to get more details about my situation and say he was on his way. He was at my house at 4:20 pm. Soon after, Chris K. arrived to help and to give me a detailed estimate of the cleanup and its cost. They had the water vacuumed up and the drying fans and dehumidifier set up and were gone by 6 pm! The drying equipment was monitored daily, with Greg A. arriving each day at the exact time we requested. Even though the drying equipment was on site for an extra day and a half, I was not charged any additional money. When the carpet and walls were dry, Chris K. returned to stretch/re-tack the carpeting and clean and deodorize the carpet. All this for $600. Every employee from Spectrum that we worked with (Grace, Ralph, Chris, and Greg) was friendly, polite, and knowledgable. They returned all phone calls promptly and they arrived when they said they would. We will use Spectrum again in the future for sure!

They were competent in what they were doing. I had previously fired a company I was working with. They had to rip out the drywall and repair everything.

Structural Restoration was in to repair the front entrance flooring. It is a 1930 bungalow style home with the front entrance protruding from the building. Once Chris removed the old flooring we saw there was a "pit" about 3'x4" by about 6'deep underneath the old flooring. He also saw fungus on one of the pit walls and stopped at that point. He was concerned about health issues for us. He recommend we call Spectrum which I did. Greg immediately came out and said he would end two guys over after they work done. They showed up around 6 p.m.and immediately got to work. They took turns going into the pitt to remove old lumber, vacuumed the walls and removed the fungus. They then sealed the brick foundation. Apparently this flooring had been replaced once before a long time ago which was what the debris was. I cannot say enough for Spectrum. They took immediate action and as of their results, Chris was able to come back the next morning to finish constructing the flooring. If I need their services again, I will not hesitate to call Spectrum again.

It's very affordable. The carpet really is clean when they're finished and it seems to stay clean for a long time. The staff is friendly. They arrive at a preferred time.

I would never use them again. They said to expect the carpet to be wet for about a day, it was soaking for 5 days. I don't think it is clean. I walked in from work and said, the carpet is stripped. Obviously, their suction did work right or something. They kept saying it would dry. I didn't want to put furniture back on it for 5 days it was that wet. It was squishy wet. I hate this carpet now. We are going to have to have someone else clean it or get rid of it. I was afraid of mold growing and everything.

They're very good. When I used them, I felt that they were less expensive than larger companies. They are fast, efficient, and do good work. Their work seems to dry quickly as well. They got rid of stains that other companies told me I couldn't get out and did so with just their standard service.

They moved everything.. we only had to move on coffee table I paid a little more than the advertised price because of the dogs going on the carpet. Very pleased with the company and the guy who did the work.

We settled on our new home the morning of 7/29. I realized that before we could move in on Saturday, 7/30 that I would need to have the carpets cleaned. I called Spectrum on the recommendation of our realtor (I hadn't joined Angie's List as of yet) and explained that I needed to have the carpets cleaned that day but not before 500 P.M. when we were to take possession of the house. They sent two technicians out about 6:30 P.M. and they completed the work by 9:00 P.M. The guys did a great job and managed to get most of the mystery stains out of the carpets. As a matter of fact, the first thing they did when they arrived was to give us a complimentary bottle of spot/stain remover. Clearly these gentlemen take a lot of pride in the work they do. Short of buying new carpeting, I couldn't be happier with the appearance and neutralized carpet odor.
