 + -1 moreHe did a great job. He removed the old pediment and installed the new one. Steve also caulked and painted the entire doorway area. A very professional guy and we will use him again for future jobs.
Description of Work: Steve came out and took a look at our front doorway area. We live in an older colonial home (75 years old), with a pediment over the front door. Part of the pediment was rotting away. Steve found a source for a new pediment, worked with the supplier and ordered in the necessary supplies. Other carpenters that I had come out wanted me to get the supplies and then they would install. I had no idea what to order. I very much appreciate the fact that Steve took care of the measuring and ordering, as well as the installation.

 + 2 moreWe are still gathering bids for the job and have yet to make a final decision on our contractor, but Steve is one of our top choices for the job. Steve is responsive, professional and personable. He has met with us twice about the job, even coming out on a Saturday - which happened to work well for his schedule and ours. He has also provided us with helpful feedback about the details of our project and helped us find resources for materials that we wouldn't have found on our own. His estimates for the work we are requesting are reasonable and we appreciate his willingness to take on aspects of the work that others have been less willing to do. It has been a very positive experience working with him thus far.
Description of Work: Provide bids on replacing doors, trim, and baseboards in two bedrooms. Provide bid on painting trim and baseboards.

S&L Construction LLC offers the following services: I do most repair type work and remodeling, I do hardwood and tile flooring. Complete kitchen or bath remodel or update and repair specific parts. Can finish your basement and add a bathroom. Build and repair decks, power wash and stain also. If you are selling your home and have a check list of things to be done I can take care of that for you, I have been in business since 1990 and my only advertisement has been word of mouth.
I don`t build houses (although I did help build 2) I do have a good friend who is a home builder. Don`t do roofing but have repaired several. Carpet or vinyl flooring, or concrete,
