The technicians and the owner have been so helpful! They fix what needs fixing and give sound advice on long-term solutions. When they replaced my entire system last week, it was a lot more involved than they expected (100+ year old house) and took twice as long as expected but they were professional and uncomplaining while making sure it was done RIGHT. The owner visited at least three times to ensure I had all the necessary information to make good decisions. They definitely went above and beyond!

We were introduced to New Systems though BPG, our home warranty company, who dispatched them to replace an inducer motor on our furnace. This was our first encounter with this company. The tech (Jerry) arrived on time and was very friendly and professional. He diagnosed the problem and then sent it into the warranty company for approval and repair at a later time. He also recommended annual maintenance on all of our units, which we decided to schedule for the return visit since we recently moved into our home and don't know the maintenance schedule that the previous owners did or didn't use. Joe made the return visit to replace the inducer motor and he was just as friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I have also talked to Sheryl on the phone several times setting up appointments and working with the warranty company and she has been friendly and helpful every time. I would recommend this company and plan to use them again in the future.

Both of the fellows that came out I think one was one of the owners and the other was just a technician. They're very pleasant, prompt, and they came when they said they were going to. It was a problem with our heat pump air conditioning and it was an intermittent failure. It was like there bearing with the same thing. Everything would seem fine and then 2 weeks later, it wasn't working again. That went on for 6 weeks or so but finally they solved the problem with apparently because it's been about 3 weeks now since they were last out here and they finally put in a thermostat on the system and that seems to have fixed it. But in the meantime, I got a new blower motor and fan which is why I have this home warranty.

New Systems was engaged to perform work as part of my home warranty. They were sent out on four different occassions, and never resolved the issue. Every time out, they found something new. The manager came twice and was personable, but did not fix the problem. The other technician they sent out drug his dirty work boots across my new living room rug on his way to the basement. He ended up causing more issues with the A/C than were there when we moved in.

They failed to clean an air conditioning vent, and it overflowed water. I called them the same morning and left a message, but I did not hear from them for two days. I had told them that there was water pouring down my staircase. I even had a service contract with them. It was my wood worker who actually cleaned up all the mess later. I was not very happy with New Systems Air Conditioning & Heating. I wasn't happy with their price either. I have not done business with them again.

They were great. They worked with the home warranty company, so we paid very little out of pocket. They were attentive, prompt, thorough, and honest.

We just purchased our home and the chimney cap had slipped. I called New Systems to come out and take a look at it. While here, New Systems discovered that the chimney liner was too small to pull the exhaust from both the furnace and hot water heater simultaneously. I wanted it up to code and did not want to risk any gases escaping into my home. New Systems sent me in estimate with a firm price for the parts and labor within 24 hours. I accepted the agreement and New Systems came out one week later to perform the work. It took about 2 1/2 hours and the technicians did a very thorough job cleaning up afterward. This is the second time New Systems has performed work to our HVAC system. Every interaction has been very pleasant. I would recommend New Systems to anyone.

I have a home warranty and when the furnance fan motor burned out, during the beginning of a heat wave (June '09). I call the warranty company who refered me to New Systems Heating and Cooling. I expect some sort of cut-rate, el cheapo company to come out and try to con me out of my warranty agreement, charge me an arm and a leg and try to sell me stuff I didn't need. I had heard horror stories about this happening before. Well I looked them up on Angie's list and they seemed to be fine, but had few reviews. I talked to Jennifer who was very friendly and professional. They said they could come over the next day and take a look. Both Dale and Jerry were extremely polite, helpful, kind and very, very knowledgable. They not only replaced the motor, but worked with the warranty company to ensure I was covered. They also made sure my other 3 units (it's a big house), were functioning correctly. I showed them one unit I had a concern with, and they immediately knew the problem but wanted to make sure they weren't going to charge me for something I didn't need. After further diagnosis, they correctly determined one of my other units was low on freon. They also noted that my units needed to be cleaned (they were really filthy from the previous owner's neglect). They got me up and running and they house is cold. I am having them back out next week for the cleaning. In a house that was burning up, they really saved my bacon and made sure they worked to reduce my costs as much as possible. I normally use another well known hvac company in St. Louis, but after finding out they used to work for them and have 20 years experience in the business, they have more than earned my business.

They cleaned the furnace in a house I had just bought, and while cleaning it, found that the limit switch was burned out and the evaporator coil was filthy due to the previous owners' neglect of the HVAC system. They gave me a firm price up front for the replacement of the limit switch and cleaning of the evaporator coil, including labor, and were more than happy to wait for a decision while I researched both the coverage of these issues under my home warranty and competitors' prices for the same work. New Systems' price was $350-$700 less than any competitors, and they were able to get the job done the very next day. Dale and Jerry, the co-owners, were both extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive to my questions and concerns. I will definitely do business with them again.
