Always have been professional, efficient, and work done well – I trust them totally to maintain 2 air conditioners and 2 Heat Pumps – when storms hit A/C 6 years ago they came immediately and were honest about the work needed. They could have told me I need a full unit, instead they fixed what was needed and my A/C has worked well ever since

We had a total of 5 different companies come out and estimate the job of installing a new cooling system for our house. We had just bought the house last October, and it only had radiators and one window unit. We had quotes that came in all across the board, some with every bell and whistle that you could imagine (price around $30K) to the range Metro came in at in the upper teens. Metro was not the absolute lowest, but after watching their work during the estimating process, their timing, their overall professionalism, their appearance, their knowledge and lastly some good things we had heard from others in the industry, we decided to choose them. And best of all no salesmen, no upsells during the process just straight foward people that know their business. The job they had was not easy. Ours is an old house with plenty of obstacles that they had to figure out how to work around. We made two changes after the estimate (during the installation); 1) we moved where we wanted to place the outside units from the west side of the house to the east side (this was done before they actually placed the units), 2) we asked if one duct running in the basement could be moved to a slightly different location (this was done after it was already installed.) Both requests were met very pleasantly by Aaron, and done without the slightest hesitation. This is my second victorian that I've rehabbed (and my last,..they're going to cart me out of this one!) and I know how difficult it is to fit things into certain spaces. Metro did an awesome job. Their ductwork is straight, their joints are perfect and just a real quality job all the way through. The county inspector came to inspect our upgraded service panel and looked at their work and even complemented us on it. My brother is in commercial HVAC and he looked at their work and was very impressed. Nothing real fancy, but just great quality craftsmanship. We've been running the heating and cooling (we installed heat pumps, and kept our radiators for the deep cold weather in the middle of winter) for about a month now, and they have been running quietly and efficiently. We are really happy!

My furnace was having problems, running and then not running the fan intermittently. As it was 40 degrees out the house was getting cold fast & I needed someone fast. Called Metro Heating and Cooling since they had great Angie?s List reviews & emergancy service. I had been very unsatisfied with the previous people who had been out to do normal maintenance on my furnace before. Aaron came out, and worked with my furnace until he found the root problem, which wasn?t easy as it was working fine when he got here. He also found and diagnosed massive build up on my blower wheel (effectively the fan blades pushing air into the house) that in my opinion should have been found by the last 2 ?furnace tune ups? I had done over the last 4 years. Wound up having the fan motor replaced, the blower wheel cleaned. I'll also note I signed up for a yearly service to come do a furnace tune up in the fall and an A/C in the spring, which I didn't include in the price above, but it was a better deal than half of the ?one time only? and I have complete faith in this company to do a much better job than the previous people who have been out at $138 for both future visits. I am really grateful I decided to call Metro Heating and Cooling.

They have been excellent. They drive quite a ways to our home. They installed our heating and air conditioning system initially. I have no complaints with them. I would recommend them to anyone. They are good people to work with, they are straight forward, efficient, and they are very responsive as well. They are incredibly punctual.

The service was wonderful. We have used them for 30 years. They are very professional and they are able to identify any problems and give estimates. The pricing is always very reasonable. They have a 24/7 service which is very responsive as well. There are typically no hidden costs and we did have a problem at one point and they identified that as not having the proper breaker size for the furnace and they fixed that as well.

We recently bought a fixer upper in Clifton Heights. After it failed the Gas Inspection, several repairs had to be remedied. I called several contractors for estimates and chose Metro because of the positive recommendations cited on Angie's List. Their service call rate was lower than a competitors and their phone manner was much better too! I would highly recommend Metro Heating and Cooling for their excellent service. Professional and personable, Aaron arrived on time and worked diligently on repairs. He even assisted in removing the defunct old stove and ancient and frayed extension cord - which started to smoke when I was cleaning around it. All repairs were completed efficiently and the final cost was $10.00 less than the estimate!

When our condensate pump failed on a very hot August weekend Steve walked me through getting the AC running again over the phone and was willing to come by on a Saturday night if that didn't work. They are always very responsive to calls and usually are able to get out within a few hours. The whole team is very professional and friendly.
