They were all great. They had some unexpected issued but the installers stayed until job was complete. Great company

They are very good. They were very fast, I called them the day after it happened and they came the same afternoon. They took a look at it and told me that they will come back the next day. They put everything back together and put the ducts up. There were a few ducts that didn?t fall, they also checked those ones. Their price was very reasonable. They finished the whole job within 3 or 4 hours. They were fast and efficient. I don?t think I would have got any better service, it was great.

They do a wonderful job. They'll go to the extreme to make sure that everything they could possibly do is done. It was just amazing. I will continue to use them in the future.

I would have used this company if my budget had been larger; another one came in with a more affordable bid. But I was positively impressed.

Very well. Eric was on site within 1 day after initial call for proposal and inspection. Received proposal the next day. The proposal was for a "not to exceed amount" of $950.00. Eric said that with the unique work, this would be an outside cost, but he could end up billing less if his crew was able to get it done faster.

I called on a Thursday to schedule the job -- three technicians were at my house promptly at 830 the following Monday morning. They were very nice (they even asked if I had any music preference in case the tunes from the basement got upstairs) and polite. Except for a half-hour lunch break, they were working nonstop until 700 that evening. Seriously, these were the nicest people I have ever had work on my house. When they were done, our basement was cleaner than when they had started. An extra bonus -- we were supposed to get a 95% efficiency furnace, but they were out of that York model so we were upgraded at no charge to a 97% efficiency model. We've had the A/C running all week and everything seems to be working very well. M-J did a great job and I highly recommend them.

Blazing hot St. Louis summer Saturday. I had out-of-town guests. By about 10 a.m. we realized that the AC was not working! I was able to contact one of the guys by phone. (At the time, 2004, their name was Martin Service.) After visiting my home, he realized that the AC was dead and needed to be replaced. After a trip back to the business location, he reported back to me that a suitable model was not in stock. So he called a coworker and they found someone in the warehouse (now about 20 miles from my home) who was willing to meet them and load the new AC onto their truck. They were back at my house, still in good spirits in spite of the awful heat, and had my new AC installed and working by about 5:30! The weekend was saved! I have used them every year for heating and AC yearly maintenance. They wear paper booties over their shoes, never an issue of tracking dirt into the house. Friendly, efficient, competent. They were very pleasant to deal with. Doug was very thorough and professional and followed up. Their price seemed high, but their product & service high quality.

Our fifth and final bid for replacing our inefficient & outdated heating system was with Martin-Jetco. Dale Sonderman was very thorough in explaining the efficiency benefits of the equipment we had to choose from, how they would install the zoned systems which would not involve running ductwork from the basement to the 2nd floor, and asking us where we wanted the furnace, ducts and registers located. Work began on Monday with Kevin, Dominick and Eric removing the radiators, pipes and boiler. The new gas furnace and ductwork on the main floor was up and running by Wednesday evening. Work on the 2nd floor was slightly delayed because we needed to install a floor and insulation in the crawl space where the electric furnace would be installed just the weekend before we opened up the space not knowing what we'd find. Ultimately, the job took seven days rather than the five estimated, but Kevin was on the job at 7 am each day, they did a good job of cleaning up and Dale checked in regularly.

They have been my service company for many years. They are very reliable and trustworthy. They are always courteous and are an all around a great company that provides quality work.

This company is very reliable and easy to get in touch with. I called them and left a message then they called me back 5 minutes later. That impressed me. Their service is so different from a company I used in the past. I am thinking about getting a new unit from them soon as well.

Estimate was easy and good. Dale helped us answer questions and determine exactly what we would need for the house. He was not pressuring at all and very friendly. Work was scheduled when we wanted and was accomplished in one day quickly and cleanly. No real problems developed on installation day. The next day we did not have hot water, due to a problem when the heating gas lines were re-hooked up. This was a Sunday, we called the office and the answering service paged Dale who called back within minutes. He said he would send someone out to look at it. When he couldn't get hold if his workman within 20 minutes, he called back and said he would come out himself and fix it. He showed up within 10-15 minutes and had the problem fixed ASAP. No problems since then. Company also filled out all rebate and warranty paperwork for me, I just had to check the mail for my rebate which quickly. A/C works harder than I would like on 95+ days, but I don't think that is Jetco's problem.

My only complaint was that I overheard one of the workmen telling the person in charge that they sometimes left stuff in the return air duct. He told them not to do that because it interferes with the air flow and could cause problems. I hope that this was not done in our home.

Very positive experience. We never felt pressured to buy things we didn't need; Dale just presented the product, our options, and left us to come to our own decisions. He even demystified a couple of concepts with coolants that other, less scrupulous competitors had used as a lure. Finally, when we read Jetco's glowing reviews on Angie's List, it was settled. Dale sent competent workers who stayed until the work was done, dealt with unexpected complications presented by our quirky old house, and answered my questions without talking down to me. Dale even dropped by to check on things as they were progressing and indulged us when we decided that the grey plating on the compressor wasn't the right color, even though we hadn't specified a color in the contract. The unit has worked flawlessly, and the office helped us register and obtain a $500 rebate. We can't recommend them highly enough. PLUS, they're locally owned and in the City.

They did a quick job and even showed us how to fix ourselves in the future, without having to call them back. They did not have to do that. Would definitely use again. Friends have also used and highly recommend.

My overall experience was excellent! Friendly, competent service is always welcome.

Joe Arcikowski was the main contact person that I dealt with. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in informing me about the various types of air units and furnaces that were available. He was courteous and responsive, as were all the service people. They were also punctual and returned promptly to repair problems. I interviewed 6 different companies before selecting Jetco. There was some variance in the ways each company described how they "prep" before installing equipment, and also in the proposals they presented. 3 companies mentioned that they do detailed measurements before installing any equipment (in essence, they problem-solve before installation). Jetco was not one of them. I strongly recommend having ''any'' HVAC company problem-solve before installation. (This could make unforeseen problems more visible.) In my case, I believe that such a procedure could have potentially cut down on some of the problems that I subsequently experienced with the water heater.

The salesman was excellent in explaining the choices. The installer was very helpful and explained everything before he did it. He did a good job.

THE WORK WAS VERY GOOD QUALITY. THE CONTRACTOR HAD SOME EXCELLENT SUGGESTIONS TO IMPROVE THE PROJECT AND HELPED SAVE SOME MONEY. COMMUNICATION WAS PROMPT AND COURTEOUS. FOLLOW UP AND CLOSURE WAS PROMPT AND THOROUGH. THERE WAS MINIMAL INTERRUPTION TO OUR FAMILY LIFE, AND NONE OF THEIR VEHICLES LEAKED OIL IN OUR DRIVEWAY. THIS FIRM WAS THE LOW BID ON THE WORK, AND WE WERE EXCEPTIONALLY PLEASED WITH THE JOB. I WILL USE THEM FOR ALL MY MECHANICAL WORK FROM NOW ON, AND I RECOMMEND THE SAME TO OTHERS.

AS THE AIR CONDITIONERS IN MY TOWNHOUSE REACHED THE END OF THEIR USEFUL LIFE, INCLUDING A NOTICEABLE DEGRADATION IN PERFORMANCE, I CONTACTED A TOTAL OF EIGHT HVAC CONTRACTORS TO GET BIDS ON REPLACING THEM. MARTIN SERVICE HAD INSTALLED A NEW AIR CONDITIONER AND A NEW FURNACE THIS YEAR FOR A CLOSE FRIEND OF MINE WHO IS A FAMOUSLY ''TOUGH CUSTOMER.'' MARTIN SERVICE'S BID WAS THE SECOND LOWEST ONE I RECEIVED. IF THE COMPANY THAT I ULTIMATELY SELECTED WAS NOT ALREADY HIGHLY RATED ON ''ANGIE'S LIST,'' I DEFINITELY WOULD HAVE GONE WITH MARTIN SERVICE, IN SPITE OF THE HIGHER PRICE, BASED ON MY FRIEND'S EXPERIENCE WITH THEM AND ON ERIC MARTIN'S PROFESSIONALISM AND RESPONSIVENESS.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DID THE JOB. THEY KEPT THE WORK AREA CLEAN, AND LEFT THE AREA CLEAN WHEN THEY WERE DONE. I AM PLEASED WITH THE WORK.
