We were in the market for a complete replacement for all of our Kitchen appliances, Stove, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, and Microwave. We shopped around, found that hhgregg had a sale on a complete Samsung set of appliances. We had a somewhat unusual set of requirements when it came to the refrigerator. Having recently had 2 major back surgeries in the last 9 months, I was not able to move appliances by myself. We wanted hhgregg to remove the current refrigerator from the kitchen, put that refrigerator in our garage, then take the refrigerator that we had in the garage 17 doors down the block and put it in my daughter?s garage. Both the Store Manager, and the salesperson said that there would be no problem with them doing that, but that I would have to pay an additional delivery charge. We agreed and thought that everything would be fine so paid for the delivery and installation of the new appliances. Then the day of delivery came and things started going strange. The appliances came in two separate shipments, the dishwasher first, and the other appliances about three hours later. The crew that delivered and installed the dishwasher were terrific, the removed the old dishwasher, installed the new one, leveled it and ran it thru a complete cycle to insure it functioned properly. The second delivery crew arrived with what I will call an installer and a helper (who identified themselves as contractors). The installer (who was really ill with a cold) did ninety-nine percent of the work, the helper basically helped carry the appliances in and then went and sat in the truck. They were somewhat un-prepared to do the work, as I had to lend them some tools, and even a box opener to unpack the appliances (which I think they inadvertently took with them when they left). The installer did a terrific job installing the range and refrigerator, but the helper did a miserable job of un-packing them. Tape, Styrofoam and other packing materials were left in the appliances that we had to remove. The big issue was with the unusual request to relocate the existing refrigerator from the kitchen to our garage and then move the refrigerator we had in the garage down the block to my daughter?s house. The installer told us that the dispatcher told them NOT TO DO THIS. We called the delivery department the next morning to inquire about when the refrigerator would be moved, and was told by that group that they do not do those types of moves. So we called the store and explained what was happening to the store manager. That evening, we got a call from the delivery center saying that they would be out the next day between 12:30 and 3:30 to relocate the refrigerator. The people in the Chesterfield location did everything that they promised to do and were very good to work with.

The guys from H.H. Gregg Appliances & Electronics were pretty good. They had a sale for like $900 and they turned around for 1 time only, you get another extra 5% and when you put in your Discover card, they give you a certain percentage Discover bid and it put it down a little bit more.
