Title: Extremely Disappointed with Hallmark Stone's Countertop Installation Service ⭐️ Rating: 1/5 I recently had a countertop installation done by Hallmark Stone, and unfortunately, the entire experience was nothing short of a nightmare. From start to finish, it was evident that customer satisfaction was not their priority. First and foremost, the installation crew left an appalling mess behind. Chunks of the old countertop, dust, and debris were scattered all over my cabinets, creating a huge inconvenience and a considerable cleanup task for me. To make matters worse, they took crucial components required to hook back up our plumbing with them and never returned our calls when we inquired about it. We even sought assistance from Home Depot, but they too failed to elicit a response from Hallmark Stone for three long days. Dealing with them prior to the installation was no better. Their communication was incredibly terse, and they seemed disinterested in addressing our concerns or questions. The lack of customer focus was evident, leaving us feeling ignored and undervalued. The most alarming part of this entire ordeal was discovering dangerous tools left in our cabinets. Among them was a cutter similar to a razor blade. What if a child had found it before we did? This level of negligence is unacceptable and puts people's safety at risk and on top of that I still have no working plumbing. I highly advise potential customers to think twice before considering Hallmark Stone for any service. They have shown a complete lack of professionalism, safety awareness, and basic customer care. I would strongly suggest exploring other options for your countertop needs to avoid the frustration and potential hazards we encountered.

Purchased countertop through Home Depot and these clowns are their installers. Scheduled measure for counter top, advised of the exact type of sink going in. They told me not to install as they will take with them. Measure guy showed up and said sink has to be installed. He was very matter of fact and unapologetic. I just fired them and with a local Mom and Pop place. If my project is going to be delayed, it is going to be because I fired them.

Excellent work - professional installer s attention to detail and cleaned up

In a word, awful. The company was a subcontractor of Lowe’s, Jefferson City, so a contract was signed at the end of August, 2020 and a deposit paid. When sub, Hallmark, came to perform a template I was told I needed to remove the existing laminate countertop due to what they saw as a “sag” in the existing cabinets. I removed the countertops and a different employee came by a week later to do the template. He did not pay attention to the “sag” the first employee was concerned about. Once his work was done, Lowe’s got the square footage from Hallmark and notified me of the total cost, which I paid promptly - which was also my first mistake. The installers showed up a few weeks later and put in the countertops, installed the sink and faucet. But I noticed the sink and faucet were not centered properly and a piece of slab was not installed, glued, on a rollaway cabinet. I contacted their office and they sent a crew from their Kansas City office to “trouble shoot” the problem. Their solution was to trim the slab on one side and move everything to one side to get the sink centered. They returned in a few weeks and performed this solution. In doing so, they left gaps between the left and right sides between the tile backsplash and countertop slabs. They also marred one side of the cabinet in doing this work. This also left more of an overhang on the left side than on the opposite, right, side. They then glued the slab on the rollaway cabinet unevenly, it was shifted more to one side and not centered. The employee who did this work would not reinstall our gas cooktop as he said he had no experience doing this type of work, so we had to do without until they sent out a different employee several days later to put it back in. When I reported these problems to the company they said they would replace the countertops with a new set. But after a month of not hearing from them to schedule the work, I contacted Lowe’s who eventually agreed to provide a full refund. At least Lowe’s honored their contract, but I would not recommend their sub, Hallmark Stone. However, now I will have to pay to have these countertops removed when I get a new set installed by a more reputable company.

Had Hallmark come out do the measuring before I had quartz tops cut. One was fine the other 1/2" to long. Hallmark claims not their fault even though they did measuring. One top fit fine the other sat on my dishwasher and was unable to open it (didn't notice this until after they were gone). Called to explain that it needed a brace to hold countertop off dishwasher ands again was told not their problem. Had to pay them again to come back out and put brace in. If you do this for a living you should know a brace was needed and be able to measure the sizing.

The entire process was amazing. From Annette, to Gary Armbruster, to the template professionals, to the quality-driven installers; everyone was professional, customer-focused, and dedicated to ensuring we were their priority. We've used Hallmark before (the reason we're return customers) and will surely use them again. I can't say enough. A+++

Everything was explained in advance and virtually everything went perfectly. There was a technical issue related to how my kitchen cabinets were installed, but they are pros and overcame that, and the result looks fantastic. There are so many contractors out there who don't have the skills, or don't have any organization behind them for scheduling, project management etc, but these guys really check all the boxes and provide a top quality end result with no hassle for the homeowner. And I thought they really were quite affordable as well.

In a single word - perfect. Beautiful quartz counter tops, island and butler pantry installed. After purchasing Jenn reached out to connect about the process. Once our kitchen was ready measurements were taken within 2 days of calling. After measurements tops were installed one week later. All crews were on time, very nice and explained every detail during the measurement and installation. I would not go anywhere else in the future.

I'd like to start by saying I've been in this business since 1985 dealing with new home construction and remodelers. I have never dealt with the group of people that were so attentive to customers. It all started with the scheduling lady Jenn. She called on a Monday Pete the template guy was here one week later very very professional very detailed oriented. Then Jenn called back in two days and set up an installation date for seven days. I was originally told it would take 4 to 6 weeks. Then came the installation with Herman on time even early. Told me he would be here approximately two hours he was gone in an hour and a half cleaned up and installed. Couldn't even tell they were here except for my new countertops. But we did have a little hick up. After the tile was done Herman had to return. And once again he was early in the job was complete in 15 minutes. Whoever reads this in management at Hallmark stone can rest assure that this group of people are doing a good job. I have recommended himthem at least 10 times and wouldn't hesitate to do it again thanks again.

Excellent. Collin and his partner (Justin?) arrived a little early after calling to confirm that it was OK. They cut the countertop for my sink and installed a total of 3 pieces. They had to do some adjustments in my old kitchen to make everything line up, but in the end everything looks beautiful! They were top notch and I would definitely hire this company again, and request Collin. They worked in a reasonable time frame, and asked for my approval with any questions.

From my first contact with Hallmark Stone clear to the finished product, this company was a class act! Attention to detail was precise every step of the way! Heather accepted my drawing, I was contacted in advance for scheduling by Lisa, and everyone showed up within their designated time frame. The workers were very professional and courteous! The area was templated perfectly by James and installed flawlessly by Mike and Clayton. I will definitely use this company again! As the old adage goes... you get what you pay for - and this company delivers perfection!

It was flawless. They came on Monday to put in the counter tops and came back Wednesday to put it the back splash and planter shelf. It was 2 different crews and they couldn't have done a better job. They took extra time to make sure the colors and veins in the back splash lined up well with the counter top to make it look seamless. It was also very tricky getting the edges cut properly to line up the back splash with the support for the planter shelf, but they did it perfectly. I couldn't be any happier with Hallmark Stone and my new kitchen counters.

Excellent work from measure to install

I don’t trust Hallmark Stone and I’m going with another vendor, thankfully it’s not the only game in town and will never get any more business from me. The granite countertop purchased in 2014 has a bad seam and is not level on the back splash. The only thing consistent about this company is it’s poor business practices.

Seamless with personalities that were professional, respectful, talented and very personable if not fun! Great teamwork all the way through and after the work: sales to project liaison coordinator, to electricians to plumbers! Awesome. Will be back and will send family and friends!

They were great to work with and fielded a lot of questions from me from template to installation.

My wife and I heard great things about Hallmark Stone. We contacted them, toured their facility, and fell in love with a ton of their on-site inventory. The staff was responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. Ultimately, my wife and I chose a beautiful slab of quartz and within days, the measurement team came out, measured our kitchen and prepared the templates. Fast forward.....a few days later Hallmark Stone called us, scheduled the installation and installed the most beautiful quarts countertops. I would strongly recommend Hallmark Stone for any kitchen, bathroom, or home remodel. The staff was great, the selection was fantastic, and the final product is amazing. Two thumbs up from us!

Everything went smoothly as hoped and anticipated. Template appointment and installation was on time and professionally done... This is a truly top notch company!

Everyone from the Expediter to the installers were very professional and timely, calling while in route to keep me aware of their arrival and answering any questions I had while they were on site. We had a bathroom top, shower curb and two shower shelves installed and they look great. Very happy with the whole process.

Jamie was the lead installer on our project and did a great job! Both my wife and I work during the day so I was going to meet him at the house for the install and he called me to tell me he was on the way and the timing worked great. After the job you couldn't even tell that they had been there to work, everything was spotless after the job. I would definitely recommend them again for future jobs, and thank you for the great work.

Everything was great. We went and picked out the slab we wanted in our home. They came out and templeted and arrived in the time they said they would be here. Made our templates and then we were able to see our layout digitally which was amazing. Installation was quick and clean. They again arrived on time to our home, were polite and took care of the surrounding areas. They left the house as it was when the arrived. We are very very happy with the service.

The two men that came to do the work arrived on time, were very professional, courteous and neat. We were so impressed with their work that we asked for the same two men to return once we were ready to complete the project. Hallmark obliged our request and we couldn't be happier with the work that was performed. We would absolutely recommend Hallmark Stone to anyone.

Blown away with their customer service. They quoted a time, met the deadline and kept me informed along the way. There was one hiccup with installation, they removed a piece that was oversized, returned it to their shop, refabed it that very night and returned the next day. Problems arise, the fact that they made every possible attempt to rectify their quality speaks volumes of their company service philosophy. It looks great, the price was right and I would use them again. Bill

I couldn't have asked for a better experience! In the course of the remodel I used several different companies for different parts of the kitchen and of all of them Hallmark was the most professional and easiest to work with.
