Gold Star did many many jobs for us and it seemed all where done with quality workmanship, although most jobs were delayed for various "reasons." Our clients started to complain about these delays as they had already signed contracts and partialy paid for the work to be completed. As delays became longer and longer, Gold Star completly stopped communication. I had left multiple messages with office staff (as opposed to voice mails) and multiple emails--all where unanaswered. I am fearful that any jobs they have completed for us will now have no warranty for workmanship.

Overall, the experience was excellent. I'd call them back tomorrow if needed!

I don't know about the quality of the work, but this is what was observed/experienced during their job: they entered a neighbor's fenced yard to plug an extension cord into an outdoor outlet without permission; they made catcalls to passerby and generally made the residents uncomfortable with their behavior and foul language; they left their jobsite a mess with debris from day to day; and during tear-off they hit our house next door with shingles which left marks on the brick and actually tore a screen on a brand-new window. We made several contacts with their office in an effort to notify them of their employees' behavior and to get reimbursement for the torn screen ($75). Over the course of 3 months, we went from "a check will be in the mail" to being completely unable to reach any responsible party. They were always "unavailable," regardless of what date or time a contact was attempted. We finally gave up and decided to use word-of-mouth.
