GENUINE LAWN CARE & LANDSCAPING

From what I was told in my initial conversation via telephone with Terry, I expected more than I got. I called for an estimate and was told $35 for mowing, trimming and edging. I was also informed that the service would include Round-Up treatment of the sidewalks and driveways. I was also told that it would be $5 per cutting for them to use the small mower rather than the "double-wide" that another company used and left gouges in my lawn. I called back the following Monday to schedule the weekly service and the first week's worth was completed by Wednesday afternoon. No Round-Up was used on the sidewalks (there are still green clumps of grass between the slabs); the trimming was inconsistent with a number of tall clumps left inside the fence and around some planters; the edging along walkways and the driveway wasn't as nice as I was given the impression it would be; and an area of approximately 4'x6' between two planting beds wasn't even cut. Even though there were inconsistencies, the responsiveness and work that was performed was miles above the last service I had to fire.

I would recommend this company to anyone.

There is no complaint except leaving the gate open several times so that my dog can escape. That problem has been solved so far. Also recently they mowed on a very wet day and their large commercial tires made tracks in my lawn. I called and reported this. I doubt if it will happen again. I pay on a weekly basis so I know whether the hill has been mowed or not.

Excellent work, also used the service in the fall for leaf removal. Called for estimate they came out quickly gave me the bid and work was completed promptly. Would definitely recommend them to others.

Great - they are fast, thereby keeping my cost down (they charge by the time required to vaccuum leaves).

I requested an estimate before work. Estimate was received on time and work was scheduled for later same day. Work was thorough and done on time.

They quoted us $100 to remove the leaves from our quarter acre lot. I thought the price sounded a little high but we needed the leaves removed so we went with them. Thinking back to when I was a kid picking up leaves, I couldn?t image earning $100 and I?m sure I could pay a kid a lot less to do the job. My parents happen to be at the house when they came to do the job and I found out what an excellent job they did. When kids rake your yard they get most of the leaves, but there was not a leaf to be found anywhere on our property once they were gone. My parents said there were three guys that showed up and did the work. It?s a fair price and not at all a ripoff so I was very happy with them. When I called to have them do it, they were very professional. The person who answered the phone explained exactly what they would do and gave a time range of how long it would be before they showed up. Everything was exactly as what I would have expected except that I didn?t anticipate that they would remove every single leaf! It?s not like pulling a rake around your yard, it?s way beyond that. I am very happy with them and I?ve put their number in my phone so I can call them again next year.

I've described above. Suffice it to say that I am still using Genuine Lawn for all my yard maintenance.

Terry came out and gave me a bid to trim all the bushes and small trees around my property. He was out within 2 weeks to do the work. He thought it would take a day and a half because there was so much to do and they ended up finishing the 1st day. Not only did they trim all the bushes, and small trees, but they did trim work around my lawn and got rid of the branch that had fallen in a recent storm. I was very pleased with their work and will use them again.

I've called and asked them to edge and raise the mower, but they haven't done it. They have been courteous on the phone. They just haven't done things exactly like I've wanted them done.

They wanted to charge us $300.00 to blow leaves from the front and back yard.

They did a nice job. They came out when they said they would. The final cost actually came in lower than the estimate they gave me. I would use them again for future service.

Terry and his crew installed approximately 7 pallets of fescue. Prior to the installation, they took the time to prepare the soil using a power rake. They paid close attention to detail and worked with care as if they were working on their own yards. I was and still am very pleased with the results.

They showed up on time, but it took me a few calls to get them to answer. They were very professional and they do a good job. I was very happy and surprised with the work they did. Their price is fair and they cleaned up after themselves.

Called in November for a bid for leaf removal, they called back within the week to let me know the bid and added that they could clean out the gutters as well. Said they would be over to do the work in a week, then we had an ice storm and I thought they had forgotten about us. A month later after we had thawed out a little, they did the job. It looked great after it was done. I only wished I had called them sooner.

I called to schedule an estimate. Terry came out and provided me with the estimate within a few days. He actually came on a Sunday. I called to schedule the work later that week and they told me it would be 2 weeks, 3 weeks at the most based on weather. I called to follow up about 2 weeks later since I hadn't heard from them. They told me it should be sometime that week. I was told they would call the night before they came because I wanted them to spread some additional weed killer before they mulched. When I came home from work one day, a thick layer of mulch had been put down in the bed like I had hoped. I don't feel the weeds had been pulled as thoroughly as I would have liked, but the majority of the weeds were gone. Unfortunately, I had not left out the weed killer for them to spread. Overall, they did a very good job mulching and were able to come within a reasonable amount of time and provided me with a fair price.

They are reliable, they do a good job, they clean up after themselves. They are professional and I like the way they leave the bill in the mailbox so I know exactly where I am on the billing.

I called Genuine and asked them to quote over the phone. They agreed to price and said they would be out within the week -- which they were. Highly satisfied.

They did a good job. They took six weeks to get to us, but we called over holidays and there was an intervening storm with multiple downed limbs in area. They used three guys over span of three hours.

I got a good response when I first called and a quick estimate. However, I needed to call back after about 10 days to remind them to do the work. They came in the next several days so everything worked out well.

GOOD. HOWEVER, HE OR HIS HELPER LEFT A YELLOW COAT ON FRONT PORCH. I HAVE JUST PLACED A SECOND CALL AFTER SEVERAL DAYS ASKING TERRY TO VERIFY IF IT IS HIS AND PICK IT UP. I AM RECEIVING NO RESPONSE. "HARD TO GET IN TOUCH WITH".

They do wonderful work. Their price is reasonable. The only complaint I have is that I never know when they will be here during the week. They were prompt when they came out for the estimate and they are easy to get a hold of. They really do a great job.

There was several instances of miscommunication that caused some problems. The owner was quick to follow up. I would hire them again to do mulch, leaf removal and lawn moving but not bush trimming.
