+ 0 moreOrigionally I was given a 3 day time frame but Dean (the owner) had another job postponed for a couple of days so he got hiss full crew on my project and they were able to do everything in 1 day including site cleanup. Later that evening Dean came over to make sure everything was done to my satifaction which it was. I will definately be using Dean and Fair Repair in the future.
Description of Work: Removed and replaced decking on a 12 x 10 deck and ramp with 2 x 6 boards , and removed an old 6 x 4 porch and built a new 6 x 6 porch with a ramp.

The name, Fair Repair, says it all. It's a relief for me to have someone I can call to do work around my home that I have trust and confidence in.
Description of Work: They removed an icky, old shed that was attached to my home. Additionally, they repaired some damage from where the shed attached to the outer wall of my home. + 3 moreFair Repair did good work but they had a new man who gave us the estimate and he made some mistakes on the estimate. Also, the painter painted just about everything but missed spots here and there. I would say to do business with the owner as he tries to take care of things that were done wrong.
Description of Work: Fair Repair replaced two exterior doors and repaired two places in the ceiling where there were water leakes. They also did minor tasks such as cleaning the gutters and spot painting where they fixed the holes in the ceiling.

+ 6 moreOverall they did all this work in 1 week! In and out....done, success! Great Job! Well worth the price. I felt comfortable with his crew, they were prompt, had all their tools required for the jobs, and they worked quickly and very well as a team! Fair Repair provides a lot of value for the price. I would recommend again and again.
Description of Work: I cannot express how happy I am with Dean and his team. They got right to work and they know their stuff! I had luan in the kitchen pulled up, a badly damamged sub floor replaced, painted 5 rooms, fixed a leak on roof, re-taped and painted a celilig,...it looks awesome. They also had to correct a cold air return problem and cut into drywall. Work was so good you would never tell where they cut. Fair Repair put up two ceiling fans, installed 2 new faucets, and garbage disposal. They did some shutter work outside and many other jobs. Would I hire them again.....YES in a heart Beat! Dean answers and responds promptly. His crew is friendly and they are very hard workers. His painter does extremely fine work. JanB

+ 0 moreDean was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. He fixed a lightening problem on our deck in about 5 minutes that no one else could figure out. His employees were friendly and helpful. Our stairs had pulled away from our deck, and they reattached them and stabilized them. They also put in a pole to match our deck for a dog-run. The one deck gate didn't look good when we checked at the end, so Dean came out right away and fixed it/replaced it himself. His price was about $2000 less than the original bid I received from a different company. That goes with the name of his company. He seems very fair on price and work done. I would definitely recommend Fair Repair.

+ -1 moreDean was able to send John over a day early, and called the evening before to make sure it was OK. Then John called before he arrived, which was appreciated. John arrived, and got straight to work. He demo'd the bathroom and sinks and hauled away all the debris in less than 4 hours. There was a lot more debris than either of us thought and he was still able to finish and clean up in a short amount of time. This is not the first time I've had Fair Repair do work at my house, and I'm sure it won't be the last.
Description of Work: Remove an old bathroom, and two sinks out of my basement. Hauled away debris.

+ -1 moreI am very pleased with the result. The new porch is sturdy and attractive. They even put screening on the floor when I expressed concern about mosquitoes being able to come up between the floor boards. They were going to put a traditional roof on the porch with shingles, but gave me the option of using a material that lets the light in while still providing some shade. I chose that option and am happy I did since it makes my kitchen much less dark. They responded quickly when I called for an estimate, started the work within 2 weeks and finished the job in less than a week after they started.
Description of Work: My old back porch was in very bad shape - getting unsafe actually. They tore down and hauled away the old porch, including an old gas grill next to it. They replaced it with a screened porch of similar proportions, but were careful to change proportions so as not to end in the middle of a window as the old (unscreened) porch had done.
