DOCTOR SOOT MAGIC CHIMNEY SWEEP

Jesse was recommended by a neighbor of ours, and he did not disappoint. Answered the call right away, and scheduled the cleaning of our chimney for 2 days later. He actually showed up 30 minutes early for the job. Did a great job cleaning our old chimney, and gave us good recommendations for a company to reline the chimney too.

He came in an moved the stove and cleaned behind it in the inside as well as cleaning from the outside. His price was in line with others; dont remember how much I paid. Hes very clean and is professional.

Very professional and prompt. He cleaned the chimney, took the cap off to physically show us the creosote, and cleaned and painted the chase top. Looks like new. He took pictures for us per our request. He shared his information and educated us as he worked. He was just wonderful.

HE WAS TO GRIND MORTAR FROM JOINTS & REPLACE IT FOR THE UPPER HALF OF THE CHIMNEY. HE WANTED TO STOP & ONLY DO HALF THE AMOUNT OF WORK NEEDED. WHEN I BROUGHT THIS TO HIS ATTENTION, HE DEFENDED HIMSELF BY POINTING OUT HIS EXPERIENCE. I EXPLAINED THAT THE CONTRACT WAS MORE IMPORTANT THAN HIS EXPERIENCE & HE GRUDGINGLY COMPLETED THE WORK. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

JESSE HAD THE BEST PRICES AND PROFESSIONALISM OF ALL THE BIDS I RECEIVED. HE IS VERY PERSONABLE AND HELPFUL IN EDUCATING ME ABOUT CHIMNEYS AND INSERTS ETC. HE DID A VERY GOOD JOB AND WAS VERY RELIABLE AND TRUSTWORTHY WHICH WAS IMPORTANT TO ME AS I DON'T REALLY USE OUR FIREPLACE MUCH LESS LOOK AT IT FROM THE OUTSIDE. I FELT VERY COMFORTABLE WITH HIM. I HAVE USED OTHER PEOPLE BEFORE FOR THE TOP DAMPER AND WAS NOT VERY HAPPY WITH THEM.

THEY SOLVED THE PROBLEM WITHOUT HAVING TO TOTALLY RECONSTRUCT THE CHIMNEY. WE HAD RECEIVED OTHER BIDS THAT WERE IN THE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS RANGE. HE FIXED THE PROBLEM SO THAT DAMAGE WOULD NOT PERSIST. HE WAS PROMPT, DID WHAT HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO DO, AND WAS VERY COURTEOUS. WE WERE VERY PLEASED.
