I was emailed an estimate after the initial inspection. I sent the contract back signed along with my color choice. The day before install the shingles and materials were delivered and set on the roof. The morning of install they arrived about 6:30 and made quick work of the roof. They covered the plants and areas around the house with tarps. It was suggested since the area behind the chimney is a trouble spot that a cricket be installed. Also since the house is older, there are no roof vents. They installed those as well. It all just turned out so great. I cannot be happier and cannot wait for them to do the roof on the home addition I plan in the future.

We contacted CJS to get a second opinion on our roof situation. Our selection of a contractor was based heavily on quality, past performance, and expertise in the area. Chris listened to our concerns and provided an honest assessment and solid recommendations. Denise provided excellence in the coordination of the work, shingle selection and insurance insight. The shingles were delivered one day and the roof was replaced the next day. The crew was professional, helpful and courteous. There was continuous oversight to ensure a quality product was delivered. We are extremely pleased with the results and our experience.

Chris and his team did a fantastic job. Arrived promptly in the morning with a full crew and completed the work in one day. Everything was completed as agreed to and to my complete satisfaction. I highly recommend this firm and will use them in the future.

We had an awesome experience with CJS roofing from initial contact until finish. They were also the most reasonable bid out of 4 bids. We highly recommend this company if you are looking for a new roof.

I had to wait several weeks because there were other customers ahead of me, but it was worth the wait. They delivered the shingles on Monday and installed the new roof on Tuesday. The roof looks great!

They came out promptly and gave an estimate to replace our roof. Prior to getting the work done we had some shingles blow off, and they quickly came out and repaired it until the scheduled replacement was performed. The replacement was done as scheduled and was completed in a timely and professional manner with no problems.

They arrived on time and went right to work. Were courteous and meticulous about picking up debris from the old roof. I did not find one nail left behind on the lawn or driveway, which is not the case for most of my neighbors who had new roofs installed this summer. They were very efficient and finished in one day, which was very impressive.

One Word - Professional! We found this company to be very professional and were great at communication. Because of rain we were pushed back a bit, but Chris juggled a few things and we were only delayed by a day or so. We were provided with addresses where we could look at the colors we were considering and also provided with a sample board. Prior to the job we were emailed a "what to expect" document letting us know what we should do the day of and what they would do. The shingles and other materials were dropped off the day before. One of the packages accidentally fell on a yard light. The worker for the company delivering the shingles promptly told us about it. The next day, Ryan from CJS asked about the light and immediately told us he they would take care of fixing it. In the end it wasn't that much damage, so we decided to fix it on our own. Workers arrived on time. They laid tarps around the house to collect debris that might fall from the roof. Because there was a chance of rain and our roof is large, the workers removed part of the roof and replaced shingles to ensure they wouldn't be mid job if a thunderstorm came through. They reached a logical stopping place and came back the very next morning to complete the job. They used a really cool magnet tool, rolling it around the yard and other areas to pick up any stray nails that may have fallen when removing the old shingles. They cleaned up all the debris and cleaned out our gutters, so good that they work better than ever! CJS was referred to us by our neighbor, who had them referred by another neighbor. We would definitely refer CJS Roofing to anyone who was in need a of a new roof

CJS Roofing is top notch service! I have had 5 homes in my lifetime and Chris, Denise, and Ryan were the most caring, prompt, and professional contractors I have ever met! I would send them in a heartbeat to take care of my Mom's roof if she needed one; that's how happy we have been with their service. Their pricing is competitive and their service is exemplary! Roofing materials were delivered and placed on my roof the day before the scheduled start of work. The work crew arrived just prior to the arranged 7 AM start time and proceeded to replace my roof in one day. Quality installation with complete removal and clean-up of debris. Chris even came back the next day to check on the installation/clean-up, and to ensure we were happy with the service. CJS Roofing's prompt response to questions and follow-up has given me complete piece of mind and confirmed that we made the right choice choosing them for our roofing needs.

CJS Roofing LLC was extremely helpful. I had other bids and talked to other companies, so I had an idea of what to expect. I actually looked at BBB for companies that had an A+ rating and found CJS. Unfortunately, the insurance company would only replace some of the downspouts and gutters, so I did have to share some of the cost. CJS helped me pick out the best color shingles for my roof (do you know how many colors there are!) and discussed the items on my house that needed to be updated/improved. I now have 4 inch downspouts instead of 3 inch and they are white, like my house. The downspouts work more efficiently and look so much better. The gutters were all replaced and gutter screens were added. They also had to comply with the City of Ballwin's codes and knew what was currently required. CJS Roofing LLC was helpful, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend them!

I don't usually write reviews, but the whole process was exceptional. Provided a very reasonable bid which we accepted. Along with contract he sent a letter about what to expect. It seemed like they put this together to answer every question they were ever asked. They double confirmed our shingle choice before ordering. A few days before our scheduled date he called and actually moved us up a day earlier because rain was expected. They arrived early, removed the old shingles and applied the new ones and were finished by noon. Everything was cleaned up nicely....no shingles pieces or nails laying all over.

CJS was a referral by a coworker, they've replaced 6 other coworker's roofs from our company. Denise was very helpful and courteous, from helping select the new color to helping us maximize the value for our roof claim.. Most importantly, they did great job.

Great job overall. They were great with communication including assisting us through the process with our insurance carrier. They kept us updated as to when the work work would be completed and what we should expect. They also provided a very detailed description of what we should be prepared for in advance of their arriva. We had a few minor issues that we wanted addressed after the roof replacement was completed and they responded imediately. Very satisfied with the work they did.

With scheduling, they seemed to want to do the job sooner than I had wanted to have the work done. I wanted to wait to have the job done until the leaves had finished falling and that is when I scheduled the work for. They completed the job on the scheduled day and left no mess behind. It was a fine experience.

Quote was given over the phone and work was done within a few days. To our surprise they even hauled away the satellite dish!

It went very well. I bought it like around 10 o'clock at night and the man was here at about 8 o'clock the next morning. They were very good.

They came within a week of purchasing our "Big Deal." Our gutters were cleaned, and we were contacted by their office to discuss their findings. They were very concerned that we would consider the additional work proposed to be a hard sell, but it wasn't at all. The items they mentioned that needed to be addressed are things we had noticed signs of, but didn't know why, so the information they provided was accurate and fair. We do intend to have them do some of the additional work. They were prompt, pleasant, and even took care to be sure that our gate was double latched as we have a large dog who has discovered how to open the basic latch.

We needed a crack in our roof repaired. Denise was very prompt at returning my Angie's List message; I believe I got a call within a few hours. We have a flat roof with a brick parapet. Denise asked the owner, Chris, but he declined the job. No where in the Angie's List profile did it say they handled flat roofs, so no hard feelings. Denise was very responsive, professional, and friendly. Enough so that I felt the need to write this review even though we didn't transact any business.

We purchased this house in December of 2012 and noticed a leak in the master bath the first time we had a good rain. CJS came out twice and attempted repairs in a very conservative manner in attemps to save on my repair bill. We still had the leak which was repaired successfully by tearing off and replacing an entire section. The crew that made the final repair was very professional, made the repair quickly and cleaned up the mess. I appreciated the conservative approach CJS took.

Went very well, low price, quality service and had the job done in a few hours. No complaints and would use again.

They called and left me a message on 3/29/2013. They discovered that I was too far away to do business with me. They are only willing to drive 45 minutes. I know where they are located and could easily do the drive in 45 minutes. I did a Map Quest and it estimated 53 minutes for a total of 37.39 miles. They need to change their ad to include their mileage/time restriction.
