CJS roofing exceeded my expectations in price and professionalism. Said they would start at 6:30am and were true to their promise. Care was taken to protect landscaping and plants and the cleanup was very good. Roof looks fantastic and couldn't be more pleased. the team was on time every day and worked hard throughout the day without many breaks. The job was done in three days and the crew cleaned up their debris around the house. Although we had to wait a little longer than expected (much of the wait weather related), we were very happy with our experience with CJS Roofing. Roof looks great; really appears to be quality work. The roof is rather steep, so the crew had to be tied/anchored while they worked, but still finished in less than 2 1/2 days. Very hard working crew; worked dawn til dusk w/ very few breaks. The site was very clean when they were finished. The communication prior to install; during install; and after install was great. Price was very fair, compared to other bids, given the size and pitch of our roof. Just an all-around great experience and I would highly recommend CJS Roofing to anyone.

We had some shingles from our roof blow off in a storm recently. I called CJS on Monday to possibly set up an appointment for that Wednesday to check the roof for more possible damage and hopefully get it repaired soon. I had to leave a message that morning but was called back that afternoon, which was sooner than I expected. I described our situation to the lady that answered and she said that their standard charge for this (if in fact that the damage after the inspection was not worse than we thought) would be $250. This was to replace the missing shingles and inspect the roof for stability. When the repairman came out he not only repaired the shingles, but also replaced 2

Ryan came out and provided a letter to submit to my insurance company explaining that as of the day of his inspection the roof was in a good state of repair. The insurance company accepted his letter and we were reinstated.

Owner came to house and determined where leak was coming from. He contacted me and explain ed that due to cold weather he could only make temporary repair but would return when warmer. I agreed and temporary fix solved problem. CJS is now waiting for my call to return. The only reason it's not yet fix permanently is that I haven't called them. I am quite pleased with their honesty about fix not being permanent and their willingness to return w/no additional charge.

We cannot say enough about Chris and Ryan! Prior to installation they worked with us on exactly what color we wanted, what options and upgrades, and thoroughly explained--and put in writing--a very detailed estimate, including provisions for the undetectables, such as the area(s) of "roof rot" we had along one side. On the day of installation the 6-man crew were here early and completed the job (large residential house, about 2500 sq ft) within 8 hours! We had witnessed numerous roofing outfits working the neighborhood and they were virtually all two- or three-man crews taking multiple days and leaving roofs "tarp'd" overnight. During the installation both Ryan and Chris made frequent on-site inspections. The crew was absolutely meticulous taking care not to disturb the yard (I have a huge amount of plantings and garden) and equally meticulous on cleanup. When completed, Chris came around one more time to inspect. CJS Roofing does ONLY roofs, and THEY ARE THE BEST.

Very good company. Chris came out to examine the roof, sent us addresses to look at samples of composite shingled roofs, and then sent a contract. Prior to work beginning, we received an email with instructions. Work began promptly per email. Clean up was very good daily and at conclusion of the job. This is a very good company that performs very professionally. I would use them again for any roofing needs in the future.

Excellent on both jobs. He helped to select a different color of shingles for the job in 2012 at Ridgeway Meadow Rive which were much more attractive the the original shingles. The time between the estimate and the doing the jobs was less than 2 weeks. The crew arrived on time and completed both jobs in one day, including cleanup. This was especially impressive on the residence in 2012. It was a 2 story home with a lower level. The roof was at least 2 stories above ground and was complex. Best contractor we have ever had

Wow. Fantastically professional is an understatement. Every step of the way was picture-perfect. We'd had some serious hail damage, and the insurance estimation was pretty precise. CJS came out, did an estimate, and got us on the schedule. We didn't have to wait too long to get it done, and get it done they did. The workers were scheduled to start at 6:30am, and were ready at 6:15 for the 6:30 start time. (Early going with the heat, can't blame at all!) You can tell this crew's worked together for a while; they were like a machine, getting the tarps out to protect the house when pulling off the two existing layers of shingles. The workers were professional, talking as coworkers do but not obnoxious or disrespectful of the house/neighborhood. They got it done in less time than expected, including a surprise issue. There was no mess left, no indication of them having been there save the sign and the attractive roof. Denise in the office was a pleasure to work with. Kept appraised of every step of the way, billing and releases on time and accurate. You really can't ask for a better experience when dealing with a major home effort like this. I genuinely wish every service was handled like this. Confident, clean, correct.

I’m absolutely delighted with my new roof from CJS Roofing! Chris, Ryan, and Denise deliver the personal kind of service we’re all looking for. What immediately got my attention was not just the high scores and long list of glowing reviews, both on Angie’s List and the Better Business Bureau, but the fact that they responded to every one of them, thanking the customer and commenting on the things they had said. I was told they study these reviews to see what they can learn from them, and are always striving to improve their already outstanding service. From the beginning, Denise did everything in her power to walk me through the process, help me coordinate with the insurance company, and patiently answer every question I had. She also provided addresses where I could view completed jobs when I was undecided on my color choice. She adds a very friendly and comforting touch. Chris was onsite to begin the job and check on the progress, and then to inspect the completed job and the cleanup. Ryan also inspected it the next day. The large efficient crew arrived promptly and got right to work at 7am. It was a beautifully coordinated effort and I never heard them stop until the job was done at 12:30 pm. Amazing! The cleanup was thorough and immaculate. I’m completely happy with their service and would not hesitate to recommend CJS Roofing to family and friends, or to be a reference for other customers.

CJS was one of three contractors I contacted (only two of them responded) about repairing/replacing the flat roof over my front porch. CJS' price was a little higher but they did offer a 5-year warranty. The other contractor did not because they considered my job a repair since the whole house wasn't being re-roofed. The whole process was really hands-off for me. I never had to miss work or leave early to meet with CJS. I explained over the phone the problem I was having and someone came by the house while I was working to take a look. I received a call the next morning and was given the price verbally along with an explanation of what was being proposed. I received the written proposal in the mail a couple of days later. Communication from the office on the scheduling of my job was great. I think it was about a week after I signed the contract the roof was replaced. I happened to be home that day due to my kids being off school. The old roof was removed and new roof installed in about 2-3 hours. The crew cleaned up afterwards and you couldn't even tell anyone had been there. I would definitely recommend CJS Roofing to others and they will be the first contractor I call when it's time to get bids to re-roof the whole house!

CJS is a pleasure to do business with each and every time. Office staff is very responsive to all questions. Work performed has always been top notch. We have them referred regularly. They are LOCAL so you are supporting the St. Louis region when you use them.

A bad hail storm came through our area earlier this year but neither my wife nor I were at home to witness this. After a few months went by we noticed our neighbors having their roof being replaced by CJS Roofing. We talked to our neighbors and they were pleased with the end results. I contacted CJS that same day and spoke to Denise to have our roof inspected. CJS Roofing is a local roofing company that's run by a husband and wife team along with their son. That was one of my main criteria on selecting a roofing company - it had to be local at the very least with great reviews. They came by within a couple of days to assess our roof and told us that we indeed had damage but it wasn't visible unless someone went up and inspect it closely. I contacted State Farm to open up a claim and they came by to inspect it firsthand. Good news resulted from their visit and we contacted another roofing company to give an estimate also. Both companies were pretty similar in pricing but we went with CJS Roofing because we knew they worked on a couple of our neighbor's roofs and they were more than satisfied. CJS Roofing looked at what State Farm was covering dollar wise for the replacement of the roof and matched their price to be in line with it as they were around $300 more. It was pretty close but CJS wanted to be sure that we would not have to pay anything extra besides meeting our deductible with State Farm. State Farm also did not want to cover for the cost of the felt because our builder did not originally had that installed but CJS Roofing ate up that cost because by not having that installed it would void the manufacturer's warranty and they mentioned any respectable roofing company that didn't install felt underneath were cutting corners. I agreed with them and still questioned the builder of my home for leaving this out. Denise took me step by step on what to expect prior to installation and the day of. Chris the owner of CJS Roofing dropped by with shingle samples that we had selected. The whole process could not have been explained any better nor could it had gone any smoother. Any questions I had for CJS Roofing via email were answered back during business hours. I never had to wait for more than half a day to get an answer. The installation crew were very good and professionals. They did a fantastic job installing our new architectural style shingles. They did a great job of cleaning up afterwards as I could not find a single nail anywhere around my house! The day we signed our contract with CJS Roofing to the day of the installation was within a week. Now that's quick! The end result speaks for itself as we have received a few comments on how great our roof looks and we told them to contact CJS Roofing for their future roofing needs.
