A Handyman & A Greenthumb

Description of Work: I was very happy with the overall job. Jeff was very polite, extremely professional, keep me up to date each day with what was done and what he planned to complete the next day. Jeff removed my old sidewalk and poured a new one. He also fixed the area around the new sidewalk which was a problem. He also cover my cracked cement porch with very nice wood porch/deck. he raised the height of the porch/deck so i no long has a foot step down to my porch. i can now walk right out my front door on to the porch/deck. I have had nothing but compliments about the work that was completed.

Description of Work: Jeff and his crew fixed our drainage problem left by another contractor. They grated and properly sloped the drainage away from the house and storage unit ,placed a retaining wall ,fixed the unfinished landing at the bottom of the deck, corrected the drain pipe and laid sod. Jeff even fixed the gate that would not open since installed!

Description of Work: I called Jeff / Owner after asking a contractor to leave in the middle of replacing my kitchen/bath floor (see my report on The Tile and Stone Man). Jeff immediately came over looked at the job (approx. 315 sf of floor), called the next day with a reasonable offer and finished the job within the week. His work is top notch, he is courteous and very tuned in to the owners needs, works as hard (if not harder) / deligently as his two well qualified, solid craftsmen (that he personnally knows and trusts to represent his business) & above all just gave me a peace of mind that the work and my home was in the hands of the right person. Thanks Jeff...now you need to get into electrical, car repair, plumbing, etc....You know all things to all people kind of thing! See you soon on another project...

Description of Work: Jeff has done work for me on two different occasisons - June '06 and again recently. He and his crew tore up all the grass in front and backyard, put down a layer of top soil, laid sod and poured a concrete driveway for me. He epitomizes everything you want in any contractor - prompt, a man of his word, true attention to detail, responsive, friendly, extremely organized and clean (tough to do when working with dirt). The sod took off immediately and has no dead/brown areas, concrete is meticulously laid without the mess you normally see on a 'construction site'. I'm also a single woman so trust and safety are very important....I paid him prior to him finishing - which is something I never do. He is 'inked' in my contact list as the only person who will do my landscaping and hardscaping work from now on. Thanks Jeff - you prove there still are a few good guys left!
