1) Mr. Kinder accused me of questioning his pricing. I never questioned his pricing. I questioned the quote I'd received from Angi, which seemed extremely high. He confused what I was saying and initially refused to do the job because he thought I was questioning his pricing. 2) He called at least 3 different times to re-schedule my appointment, which I was amenable to each time. He called back at least once to ask me when our appointment was. 3) As a result of my cell phone shutting itself off in the middle of the night inexplicably, I missed the alarm, hence I overslept and missed our 7 a.m. appointment. I contacted him at 7:36 a.m. to ask if he was still in the area and that I was regretful for any inconvenience caused by the technology fail. Rather than being understanding that sometimes technology fails us, he told me that he was refusing to do the job and that I needed to find someone else. He was very rude during out texting conversation, as was I. He demanded $50 to come back, even though he himself said he was going to be in the area that day working on his son's house. He texted "We are done. Find someone else." After a few choice text messages of me expressing my frustration (I was not kind) and informing him that I would be giving him a poor review on Angi, he texted "You can do that, but you lie about what happened, I will sue you...don't lie or I will take you to court." He continued to text message me even after I requested "Do not contact me any further." 3) He seems very unorganized, forgetful and his general demeanor seemed very confrontational. His customer service skills suck.

I was so impressed from our first conversation over the phone. You could tell he was an expert in his field. Chris was very professional, friendly, and efficient. His price was very reasonable as well. I couldn't ask for a better person and for better service! He will definitely be my go to in the future.

I can’t recommend Chris highly enough! He was prompt and efficient. He set up his own workspace, even placing a drop cloth down under his work table. Chris is very personable. I felt very comfortable with him being in my home without my husband home. I can’t wait to hire him again!

Chris from Kinder Wallpaper was AMAZING. My husband and I attempted to wallpaper a small powder room with a gagillion angles ourselves. 3 days later and much cursing, we had only completed half of it. We were beat. I called Chris and he came out the next day to finish the project. Showed up on time, if not a few minutes early and completed the job in two hours. Would have taken me days...This is truly an art and it pays to hire out. Lesson learned. Now I am eager to wallpaper other rooms too and Kinder Wallpapering will be the first call I make!

Chris Kinder did an amazing job on our powder room ceiling!! He responded to my inquiry immediately. He had an opening the following day so I hired him. He arrived on time (actually even early) and was ready to go. Extremely professional, extremely clean and did an AMAZING job on our paper. I would give him an 10/10!!! Good luck finding someone with such professionalism, affordable and does a great job. Hire him, you will be happy!!

I called four wallpaper hanger companies from Angies List. Chris was the only one that answered the phone. He was polite, professional and patient with my questions. Even though I had planned to get quotes from everyone, I quickly called him back and hired him for the job. He said he could come the next day.. The other people I had initially contacted eventually called back and could not come for 4 to 5 weeks. Chris told me he had been written up in a St. Louis magazine as the best wallpaper hanging company in the city, in 2010. He also said he was much cheaper than anyone else. He was so right! The other quotes came in at 2 to 3 times more cost and many more hours to do the same job. He had the entire wall papered in just over an hour and even covered the electrical plate with a scrap of wallpaper to match.

The project went very well. Kinder Wallpapering scheduled and completed the job within three days. Chris was punctual, personable, and very skilled. I highly recommend Kinder Wallpapering.

I was sent rolls from different batches and Chris immediately helped me correct the issue. This was my first time doing wallpaper and I really lucked out with finding him! He was able to come immediately and accommodate our busy work schedules. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and fun to talk to! We definitely plan on having him back again to do another room in the house. Can't say enough good things about him!

Phenomenal work! Aesthetically perfect and incredibly efficient. On top of the high quality work, Mr. Kinder was just a pleasure to be around. Lastly, the turnaround for getting the work done was excellent. I have a crazy work schedule and it is often hard to schedule work, but I had absolutely no trouble getting Mr. Kinder in and getting things done in a timely fashion. I'd highly recommend using this company!
