Description of Work: We could not have been more pleased. One night our g. door would not open. I pulled a couple of contractors off angie's list. He called CGX the next day at about 11. They were there by 12:30. They did a great job. Recommended a couple of other minor fixes. There was no high pressure to replace the door or anything. They replaced the double spring, our outside entry box (we didn't even know it was dead), a few rollers and someother minor fixes. The work was done quickly and has continued to be correct.

Description of Work: They checked the garage door, they put a new rubber covering on it.

Description of Work: Replace rollers on garage door. Replace busted spring. I had to pay an additional $165.00 to replace the spring. I did not know that it was busted before it was shown to me. I should be thankful that it was replaced before it caused more damage. I can't get over the feeling, " was it really busted before he got there. I have no proof either way and I don't want to give a bad report for something that did not happen. That is one reason I have put off so long making this report. The other reason is that the garage door opener has a feature that if you leave the door up long enough the light goes out. If you then break the beam the light will come back on. After he was here this feature no longer worked. I never got around to calling him to see if he would come back and fix it. Then last week it started working again, for no reason that I know. The man was very nice and professional appearing. Maybe I was just upset about the extra $165 I had to pay over the original coupon.

Description of Work: Corey installed a weatherstriip on the bottom of the garage door. While this was what was advertised, it's not worth $85, since it took him about 5 -10 minutes. The reason I went ahead with this was because the operator on the garage door was beginning to fail. I was hoping to find a quality replacement for a reasonable price. Here's the rub: he was totally unwilling to work up a contract. I also asked him where gets his equipment. His response was somewhere in Earth City. When I said "no contract, no wortk", he walked off.

Description of Work: It took some time for us to find a compatible time for the service. Once he came, he was very quick to fix the and tune the door. He still needs to do the weatherstripping as it was too cold to do it that day. Overall, I'm satisfied.

Description of Work: He came out and assessed the garage door opener, which was in bad shape. Unfortunately ,it worked more poorly afterward. But like I said, it was in bad shape to start with.

Description of Work: NOTE: This is the 3rd survey I have submitted for this service. While I am happy with the service performed, i am not happy with Angie's List for losing my surveys. CGX was on-time, replaced all of the roller bearings on the garage door, lubricated and adjusted the springs, and did an overall inspection. I was completely satisfied.

Description of Work: My garage door did not open Friday afternoon. I looked up companies on Angie's list. First I called a company near me, got an answering machine and left a message. when I called Corey he answered right away. He promised to come between 3:00 to 4:30 and showed up shortly after 3:00. He replaced the gear in the garage door opener (did not have it on the truck but went to get the right part). I also bought a new remote which he programed for me. It was a pleasure to work with him!

Description of Work: The Service Tech serviced my garage door by lubricating the rails, checked the spring tension of the garage door, checked to make sure the garage door would open if there were an obstacle in it's path, and also checked the garage door opener to make sure it was operating correctly.

Description of Work: I had bought a coupon for a garage door opener. After looking at the door we decided that I needed to repair the door. He was nice enough to apply the full credit for the opener to the repair. He had to come back a few days later to bring parts. He was punctual for both appointments and very easy to work with. He lubricated all moving parts and did a complete inspection at no additional charge. I feel that I get excellent service and pricing. I would recommend him to anyone.
