Description of Work: Once I provided them with my address they should have responded right away to let me know I was outside of their service area. Actually there was no response from them until I sent another message asking about my status 2 wks later.Then they said Angie's List should not sell their services in Illinois. At that point they did offer to work me into their schedule whereby I declined.

Description of Work: CGX performed a soup-to-nuts mechanical makeover on my garage door. It'd been 6 years since any repairs or alignment work, and the door was really creaky and jumpy. CGX got in and out in just a few hours and even made some gratis adjustments while they were on site. I referred them to 3 others who had the same great experience. I'll use them again this summer.

Description of Work: CGX came to my house and gave me an estimate on a new garage door, opener, springs, etc. They came for the estimate on time, gave me accurate estimates for installation of my garage door, and communicated accurately and efficiently every step of the way. They warned me of a area in my garage where there was very little clearance (after measuring), but said they thought it would be fine. | |When they came to install the door, they again arrived on time and were very professional. They estimated the installation process at 3 hours and finished in a little less than that time. Also, the clearance issue they warned me about was not a problem at all, but I certainly appreciate knowing in advance an issue could have occurred. | |I highly recommend CGX.
