 + -1 moreThey were decent. He was okay, but he adjusted the ir sensor that stops the garage door for safety, and it was working when he left. A week later it was back to not being aligned. He was a nice enough guy, but some of the stuff he worked on didn't stay fixed permanently.?I don't know if it was $79 worth of work on it. He was here about a half an hour. They were nice guys and left the area clean.

 + -1 moreCurtis with CGX inspected and determined the door sensor was the issue. He adjusted then did a thorough inspection and lubrication of both garage doors and openers. Everything working properly. Curtis/CGX was responsive, professional and thorough ...and did not seem to mind that this particular call did not result in the sale/installation of a new door opener. I would absolutely recommend CGX and we will definitely call them for any future garage door issues/needs. Overall a very positive experience.

He made an appointment for early Monday morning ( A Holiday ) and the serviceman came on schedule, repaired it quickly and explained how to keep it working smoothly and a longer life. Price was very reasonable,

 + -1 moreAll the work that they did complete as part of the maintenance was done very well and the technician was very prompt and professional.
Description of Work: Used CGX for a tuneup on our garage. Price was good for the maintenance (a special deal) to check springs, oil and look over it, but making repairs (replacing the motor) was expensive so we opted to complete that work ourselves. I am not sure if the price for the repair was expensive in general because we did not look at other companies.

Description of Work: For $49 the technician performed a general check up on my garage door. He checked the springs, and lubricated the rails and gave it an overall check. He was very nice and polite. During his visit we disussed the condition of my door which is original to the house - 25+ years old. So I asked for a ballpark price for a new door somewhere along the line. He gave me a price and indicated that they offer a 2" thick door as their standard offering whereas other doors would be an upgrade for a higher price for a 2" door. When my door neeeds to be replaced, I'll definately call this company.

 + -1 moreNot only did our serviceman fix that situation, but he fixed the short in the garage door switch located on the wall too which we forgot to tell him about! It was like a bonus. I wish I had his name still, because in organizing and rearranging our garage, I accidentally broke a component that won't let the witch connect to the belt with teeth so it opens with the switch. Ironically enough, now it only opens manually. LOL I will definitely call them to come take care of my Tim Allen moment.
