Very happy with work and follow through, after we were booked. Good to talk with and seemed customer focused! Quality seems good and very thorough. The only issue was it took too long (several tries) to schedule the work. The office told us they had a lot of specials running, and were behind. That is understandable, to a degree; we do feel we really had to try to get an initial response.

Overall there isn't much to share. He showed up on time, fixed the door in a timely manner, brought me out to show me what he had done and he was done. He was polite and professional. It was painless

The first reconditioning took less than 20 minutes. The recondition apparently consisted of lubricant spray on some components, a cursory inspection and roller replacement. Tthe return visit the same day took about five minutes. He did not charge me for a service call on the visit to replace the spring cable, only charged for the cable. He complained about old garage doors being too heavy and requiring two springs. I was surprised that the spring calbe broke in less than two weeks after the reconditoning. I'm not a door expert but I thought the inspection could have noticed some cable fraying. The man reconditioning the door was very knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. Overall the experience was a good one and the door is operating well now.

I had communication problems to start with, but once these were overcome, the actual service went well. I was under the understanding that the provider would contact me by phone or e-mail within 2 days. After I heard nothing for a week, I phoned the provider to set up an appointment. The phone call was very difficult. I had trouble understanding him and he sounded as if his concentration was somewhere else. He indicated that he didn't have his schedule handy and would call me back. After another week went by with no call, I contacted Angie's List and complained. They said that the fault may be partly theirs as the 2 day contact was a new program and this provider may not have signed up for it. They requested I try again, and they would follow up. I finally did get a hold of CGX, we made a date and he was prompt and professional. Watching him on a ladder while working on my unit and answering a phone call helped me understand why our initial communication went so poorly. Juggling tools and a cell while on a ladder creates a poor conversation with the person on the other end of the line. I would recommend CGX use voice mail while in the middle of a job, then promptly return the call as soon as you get off the ladder or job that requires your concentration. Focus and attitude do come across on the phone,

I called CGX on a Monday afternoon, and spoke to the owner, Corey himself. I had obtained several other bids for the repair of the broken torsion spring, and his beat them all. But more than just the price, the reviews on Angie's list convinced me that he was the highest quality choice. He set the appointment up for the following day, and arrived right on time. He was clean and professional, as well as friendly and efficient. He inspected the broken spring, and although he had a wide variety on his truck, he did not have the correct spring for my door, as it is a heavy wooden door (22 years old). He inspected the other doors that I have (5 total) at my request, and discovered a broken bracket holding one torsion spring on only part way, a potentially dangerous situation. He promptly and expetly fixed it.. He adjusted the torsion on another spring that was undertorqued. He lubricated all moving parts on the various doors. He performed all work professionally, confidently and cleanly. He arranged to have the spring that I required cut that day and returned that late afternoon to replace it, even though I was flexible on times for his return. He went out of his way to complete the job the same day, even when he had to have the correct spring cut, and go across town to get it! He went out of his way to make things most convenient and comfortable for me. I have used another big name garage door company in the past for a prior property, and this was a much better experience. Corey was honest, professional, and friendly, and explained everything in easily understandable terms, as I like to ask a lot of questions. I have already passed his name on to a friend, and would highly recommend CGX for any garage door work needed. His work was excellent and highly competent, done in a timely and professional manner, by a friendly and honest guy, for a fair and affordable price. What more can you ask for?

This ended up being two visits because we missed each other the first time. He is always very professional and quick to respond. I have used him in the past as part of a Big Deal and would happily use again.

My Garage door would go back up after pressing the remote to close it and it would happen about a foot or so before closing. I would then have to keep pressing the remote until it finally closes. Problem solved.

Corey replaced old metal rollers with new nylon rollers. He oiled the door hinges and lift chain, and Inspected spring and safety lights. Corey was on-time and cleaned-up all old materials. Door is much quieter now.

Arrived on time. Replaced the garage door bottom seal. Adjusted the springs and oiled the rollers.

He came out after hours to perform the services. We were also going to have the rollers replaced, but he was honest in telling us that it wasn't necessary and he didn't want to charge us for anything unnecessary, which we appreciated.

Company was very courteous and accommodating during telephone conversation. Arrived for appointment at prearranged time. Technician was professional and courteous; performed service efficiently. I would definitely use this company again.

Replaced garage door spring and cables - door works better than when we built the house!

When I called them they were very busy. It took me about 1 1/2 weeks to get an appt. However, they were very punctual, professional, and were able to answer all my questions.

Corey was prompt and did a great job.

Because this was an Angie's List offer it took longer than normal and we had difficulty setting a mutually agreeable date and time, but the wait was worth it. He arrived in the time window we had agreed upon, was clean-cut and polite, and got the job done without any problems. I recommend this company highly.

I was getting ready to leave I pushed my garage door opener and my door would not open ! I had a broken spring . I did not have anyone to call my door is a double , it insulated and has glass windows it is very heavy my son could barely open it and we had to put a stick in it just to keep it open . I came in the house and went to Angie`s list , CGX had the most reviews with the best ratings I called and Corey answered he said the quickest he could get there was 4 or 5 . Corey showed up at 4:45 . I had to leave so my son was here when he got here . Corey did not have the right spring on his truck because he did not know that my door was insulated with windows , so we could use the door Corey installed a temporary spring just so we could open it manually and we were not trapped !!!!! Corey did not ask for any money down !!!! I called Corey when I got home and talked to him he said I needed a special spring he was going to have to get and it would be Monday before he could come back ! I let Corey know it was a inconvenience , because we could not use the garage door opener , in order for us to move our cars my son had to manually lift it . I told Corey if there was anyway he could get the spring before Monday that I would appreciate it . He said he had a full schedule and would see what he could do . Saturday Morning Corey called and said he had the spring . He came back out and installed the right spring . He charged me the normal price for a regular spring and made two trips and installed two springs !! I almost did not use CGX because he had one bad review pending ! I am glad I decided to use CGX !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They definitely did everything they could to make me happy :) .

It went fine. He showed up early the day after I called and got the job done quickly. I did purchase a Big Deal, but he was no longer honoring them so I requested a refund of that deal.

Perfect. We are very satisfied.

It went well, arrived on time and completed the work in a short time. The only problem was that I arranged for two doors to be serviced and I did not have the contract number with me on the one that was done. I thought this would be a problem but they stated that they would get it when then accomplished my other garage door.

We have lived in our home for 6 years and had not done any maintenance on our garage door. The door was getting louder and louder as it opened and closed. We bought the Big Deal with CGX for maintenance & roller replacement. We called to schedule the appointment and they said they were a couple weeks out with their work load. I told them we were in no hurry and to just call me when they had time. A week later they called and set up a time to come out. They came out on the scheduled day and time and did their work with no surprises or upsells. They did a great job and we now have a quiet garage door that doesn't disturb our neighbors.

I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH EVERYTHING.

Mr. Glackin called to schedule a time to repair our garage door. He stated he would arrive between 3:00 and 5:00 pm and he arrived earlier than the time scheduled. He was very nice to call to let us know that he would be arriving sooner than scheduled. Mr. Glackin was very affable and professional. It showed he knew what he was doing. He finished the job quickly, in less than one hour. He cleaned and picked up anything he replaced and took it with him. He explained that we would not have to repair it again. Mr. Glackin left a good impression on us. If we have a problem again, we will not hesitate to call him again.

Corey arrived promptly as scheduled. Our garage door was sticking and he explained exactly why and quickly repaired the issue as part of the reconditioning package. He was extremely personable and professional. I would highly recommend him and use his services in the future.
