 + -1 moreThe service went okay. After they left for the service, I heard a large crash in the garage. A bolt had fallen out and we had to put the bolt back in ourselves. I am not sure if that was their fault. One technician came out and completed the job in about a half hour. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

 + -1 moreArrived a few minutes before the scheduled time, performed the inspection and completed an examination of the door, we talked about when the temperature gets below 20, the door will not open and he fixed that. We have had some very cold says since the service call and to date have had 0 days where the door would not open. Highly recommended.

 + -1 moreThe tech and his helper were very pleasant and professional. They actually called and set up an appointment earlier because they were in the area. I would highly recommend. It was very cold that day but they were punctual and finished the job in short order.
Description of Work: Provided maintenance on our garage overhead door. During the maintenance, the tech found one of the drive gears was worn and would probably need replaced sometime soon. I examined it myself and agreed. I ask for a price and told him to go ahead and repair instead of taking the chance it wore out in the next days, week or months.

I gave some days that were available to me for the service later that month, and suggested that December would also be good for the work to be done. They contacted me on December 8, and we scheduled for the 12th. They arrived early that day, and did the work quickly. I was pleased with the work they did.
Description of Work: This was an Angie's List Deal for $39. Two men came to do the diagnostic and tune up services for my door. While they were here, I asked them about replacement of the door seal where the door hits the garage floor. The old seal was dried and did not fill the space between door and floor on one side. They agreed to replace the seal for $55. After they had finished their work, I noticed that the door, which prior to their arrival had been shifting slightly when it closed, now came straight down. Also noticed that the new seal did the job of providing a seal between the door and the floor.

I had called later in the day of December 9 and was serviced early this morning, the 10th. We appreciate the rapid repair as we had one of our cars trapped inside the garage. We have had service from CGX for two other issues in the past and continue to be very pleased with the response and honesty and competent, professional work. Cory's prices seem very reasonable, too. We will call only CGX if we need help in the future.

 + 0 moreIt went very well. Cory made the doors work better than they ever have. He did point out on one of them where a bushing was wearing and eventually would go, but recommended to just let it go until that time and then probably replace the whole thing. At that point our best bet would be to replace the whole garage door opener as the life span of that opener will have been reached and/or exceeded. I thought this was very honest and considerate as he could have started pushing me to buy a new opener. I would recommend CGX to anyone needing help in this area.
Description of Work: Replaced rollers on two doors, straightened our bent up big door, and fixed the bottom seal. He also adjusted this door and our smaller door after replacing a bad spring.

They start off by being there when they say they will be. Once on the job they do not stop until it is complete. I was amazed at the quality of their work. They know what they are doing, and do it well. I am grateful for Angies List for having CGX on their site. If you use them you won't be sorry! We love our new doors, and the whisper quiet opener. Thanks to CGX for a great job!
Description of Work: They replaced two garage doors. One a double, and one a single. They also mounted a new Chamberlain myQ garage door opener, and a Genie on the single door. We purchased the two doors which came in a color that was a perfect match for our exterior. All the tracks, springs, and seals were replaced.
