Our garage spring broke unexpectedly this morning at 7:00 am as we were getting ready to leave for work. I immediately sent a text to Cory (the owner, and a provider that we have used in the past), and he responded in less than 10 minutes and said he could fix it today. Since I would be at work, he said he would call when he was 30 minutes away, and I would then meet him back at my home. He arrived at 10:30, completed the repairs and I was on my way back to work by 11:00. Cory does an excellent job at a fair price, is conscientious, thorough, and is very customer focused. I would highly recommend his company for any repair work to your garage door or opener.

Called in the morning and they had an afternoon slot open. He arrived within the estimated 2-hour window, was very polite, assessed the situation quickly, and seemed very competent. Work completed quickly, he even made sure everything was working properly beyond the spring replacement. Very straightforward - no attempts to upsell. Will recommend in the future.

The guy who came to do service for me was very polite and his work was good. He came right away to schedule the date and time and came as scheduled. He did everything he was supposed to do and I am happy with that. The money that I spent was worth it. After his check up, I feel more confident that I can operate the garage door for at least another year. His service was very professional.

It turned out to be a split pulley that was hard to see. They fixed it on the spot for an additional $10. They were in and out quickly and now I have a working garage door again. He explained that I will probably need a new garage door at some point (house was built in 1988 and garage door is original) and that would fix the problem of door not shutting all the way. CGX can back two days later and did all the other work for $375. He was prompted and quick and did a great job. I would highly recommend him for any garage door work.

I contracted this work to be done at an income property in order to prepare it for inspection. The service provider showed up at my personal home as it was the billing address given for the transaction. My wife (who was working from home that day) was traumatized because an unmarked vehicle pulled into our driveway and two men entered the garage. She naturally called the police. When the source of the confusion was discovered, the dispatcher offered no apologies, and blamed the Angie's List system for providing them with the wrong address. The technician also was also unapologetic - although it was obviously not his fault, he should have been sensitive to the fact that he scared a homeowner rather than become belligerent to her and the police officer that responded.

It went well. We chose CGX Overhead Door because they had good Angie List references and because they had the lowest price of three bids. My only complaint is that when the installer was finished and left, there were aluminum cuttings and some other stuff left by the ends of the garage door. I thought that was a little sloppy. I called the owner after I noticed the little mess, and within a couple of hours he was at my home and cleaned everything up very nicely. The work was done well. The garage door looks great. We are very happy with it. Recommended. Do some research and ask lots of questions of bidders you get. One bidder was bidding a one inch door, and the others were bidding two inch doors.

Corey contacted me right away to set the appointment, was very accommodating to my time, set a 2 hr window that he would arrive, was on time and completed the job quickly. He made additional recommendations for the future, but was not pushy. I will be using this company again in the future. I had not heard of the company before, but always look for the "A" rating on Angies list. I will recommend the company to others. I am a very satisfied customer.

Our single garage door spring "exploded" Sunday afternoon. Corey made an emergency visit to allow us to get our cars out of the garage. He then worked with my schedule to meet the next day at 1PM for installation of new springs, hubs, and cables. He was timely, and completed the work quickly. Highly recommended.

Called around 10 am. Gave me a time window from 1-3 pm on the same day. Showed up around 1:10 pm. Final bill was $169 for a 16x8 door. Exactly as advertised and quoted. Door works great. Can't ask for anything more.
