Busken Tree & Landscaping Service

I needed 18" wood specifically, and I got logs of all different sizes. I have a lot of trouble getting it in my stove. The wood is wet, and it's got lichens all over it. He didn't have me make out the check to the company, but to him individually. I asked for a cord, but when I measured it I was about 55 cubic feet.

Wood was delivered as promised, stacked where I wanted it. Burns great! I will use them again.

I called Busken for estimate which took awhile. He eventually came when we were not at home. That was in September. I called for his certificate of insurance which came timely. I called in late September or early October to inform him that we accepted his bid. No return call after two weeks. When I contacted his "office", the woman who answered indicated that the summer storm put him behind and may not be able to do our work until later in the year. She indicated that we should call back in November. Did so. The woman indicated she would pull our file to check. She said she would speak to Ron Busken and get back to us. That was two weeks ago. No return call. He is also registered with our municipality. I indicated my experience with Busken. He may or may not do good work. I will never know. He needs help with customer service.

Our experience was a positive one despite losing a favorite tree. Mr. Busken was prompt and his price was quite reasonable. We were very pleased with Mr. Busken's service and would highly recommend his company.

Busken was recommended for price, and his bid was the best bid received. Perhaps that's why he has a backlog of work and takes awhile to get to jobs. Would not call in an emergency, but otherwise satisfied.

RON BUSKEN COMMITTED TO REMOVING TWO TREES FOR ME. HE WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL WHILE SUBMITTING THE BID AND EXPLAINING THE PROCESS. HOWEVER, AFTER THE INITIAL EXPERIENCES HE NO LONGER RETURNED MY CALLS AND THUS AFTER THREE MONTHS OF WAITING FOR MY JOB TO BEGIN I HAD TO CONTRACT FOR ANOTHER SERVICE TO DO THE WORK. IT WAS A FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE BECAUSE HE WOULD NOT EVEN RETURN MY CALLS TO INFORM ME THAT HE WAS NO LONGER INTERESTED IN DOING THE JOB, NO PUN INTENDED, BUT HE LEFT ME OUT ON A LIMB!

VERY PROMPT AND RELIABLE. WE ASKED FOR A "CORD" OF WOOD AND WERE DELIVERED A "STACK" OF WOOD. MUST BE A ST. LOUIS THING AS IT IS APPROXIMATELY HALF A CORD. AFTER SPEAKING WITH OTHER PEOPLE WE FIND THAT THIS IS A REASONABLE PRICE FOR A "STACK" FOR THIS AREA.

DID A WONDERFUL JOB ONCE THEY FINALLY WERE ABLE TO COME. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND CLEANED UP QUITE WELL. IT DID TAKE A WHILE TO GET THEM TO SCHEDULE US BECAUSE OF A LARGE WORK LOAD BUT WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THE JOB THEY DID.

VERY PLEASANT. ALSO LOOKED AROUND AT OUR TREES WHICH NEED WORK AND SEEMED KNOWLEGEABLE ABOUT DISEASE, DEGENERATION AND THE BEST WAY TO DEAL WITH TREE REMOVAL IN SOME DIFFICULT AREAS. THEY STATE THEY WILL COME LATER IN THE WINTER SEASON TO GIVE US AN ESTIMATE.
