Description of Work: If you employ Omni Tree Service, be there to supervise. I did that for years and they did a great job every time. (I'm not saying everything always went exactly according to plan, or that it was easy to marry our schedules. But when something went sideways, they handled it well, and I remained a happy customer.) However, the first time I trusted them to do a job involving more than just a stake in the ground on my property when I couldn't be there, they went back on a promise (both handshake and in writing) about what equipment they would use where, and did several thousand dollars' worth of damage to my property. This kicked off months of avoidance behavior. (Really, everybody involved but the ladies who answer the phone was out of the office and out of touch for several weeks, to the point that they couldn't spare ten minutes for what I assumed would be a calm adult conversation about how to fix the problem they caused? I'm not that gullible.) After I finally gave up and got outside help to mediate, they gave me a small amount off the price of the original service, which paid less than 20% of the damage they did. The damage itself was not great, but that alone could have been put down to forgetfulness or inefficient communication among employees - not an uncommon problem in today's reality. It was the avoidance behaviors that followed that finally put paid to my opinion of their professionalism when left to their own devices. So as I said, my advice is to supervise them closely. Do that, and in my experience they'll do a great job, and I doubt you'll ever see their less professional side. Leave them alone to work and, well, anything's possible.

 + -1 moreThe work was completed 2 months ago and I could not be happier. Just two days ago St. Louis had a storm that produced 40-60 mph winds and my tree's were in great shape after the storm. When the work was completed they could not have been more professional - they used a bucket truck to trim the trees to protect them from unnecessary climbing (spikes, etc.) - the project took two full days and they had at least 4-8 people working on the job until it was completed. The crown reduction was done perfectly - they shaped the trees so that you could not tell work was done - only about 6 feet shorter all the way around the trees (60 foot trees). I was not asked to pay in advance - only when I was satisfied with the job. Their sales person "mike" came out three times before the job to ensure the scope of work was clearly defined and established a fair price for the work performed.
Description of Work: Removed three trees - safely with a crane to ensure no property damage or possible injury to individuals, 3 stump removals, and completed a 25% crown reduction on six additional trees and cleaned up storm damage on five additional trees.
