Window World

It went very well. The gentleman's name that did the work is Brett. He did an excellent job. He was professional. He would ask questions through out the job to make sure we where satisfied with the decisions. The cleanup went very well. He did a very good job on the details of the siding.

They did a great job. They sent a guy out here that did the install, cleaned up, and it seems to be working well. It has a metal barrier on the bottom. The exterior door was pressed wood and had no metal on it at all. It started leaking water and it popped out of the frame. It took a little longer to get the doors in, it took almost a month and a half. The framing people that were putting it together took their time. They don't look like they were individually built. They were here when they said they would be here.

Everyone was professional, kind, and punctual. The windows look and work great. They almost completed the job in one day, finished up the next morning with just outside work. We had them do some additional capping work around some doors, and I feel that is the only place the quality in their work was lacking. There are just some places where the cuts made do not look entirely professional.

This was my lowest bid for 3 large windows. Initial call, estimate meeting, second measurement, and scheduling went perfectly. It took maybe 4 weeks this time of year for the windows to be made. The installers were on time in the 3 hour window (maybe and hour into it). They installed the windows very quickly. I was concerned about having flies and other bugs coming in with 3 windows out, but they were so quick, that I think only 1 fly got in. After the windows were installed, they used injectable insulation and framed it with a nice solid material. The previous window framing had a rubber substance that looked terrible. The front of the house (2 living room windows) looks completely updated! The 3rd window was the master bedroom. It also looks great! I would have given these two guys a 100% grade, BUT... the only thing that took the icing off my cake was I discovered several cigarette butts in my yard the next morning! Nasty! That, to me, was extremely unprofessional. Maybe Window World needs to require workers to only smoke between jobs and not during installs. We don't need dogs eating them or little kids messing with them, and I shouldn't have to pick them up, either.

We used this provider 5 times over the course of approximately 24 months. EVERY time they were scheduled to come out and do the work the crew would arrive at our building, they would complain they didn't have the correct tools or number of people. They would then leave and WW Would call to reschedule the "correct" crew for days or weeks later. After this happened the first time, prior to all other services we would call WW to make sure that this wasn't going to happen. Even with us proactively addressing these issues, they continued to happen. One might ask why we would use them if this happened twice, let alone 5 times. Honestly it was because we didn't want to have to source a new provider. Well, the 5th time was the final straw. After calling ahead, letting them know about the past issues, they said that to make it right they would issue us a credit on our final bill. Their idea of making things right was to give us $250 back after we spent several thousand dollars, being an ongoing customer and having had to spend dozens of hours dealing with their lack of communication and service. I can honestly say i have not received worse customer service from any provider I've ever used.

Josh and Russ arrived early, introduced themselves, were pleasant and worked well as a team all day. It was quite obvious they were experienced workers but I believe the windows in my older home had to be a challenge to remove due to years of several coats of paint and sealants. They worked straight thru till the end - not stopping for a lunch break - only taking drinks for hydration. Thirteen windows were removed and thirteen new energy efficient, noise reduction, beautiful windows were installed. I am more than pleased and satisfied with the project and plan to use Window World again when I'm ready to have more windows installed. Like they advertise - the work was done in one day and there were several people who passed by inquiring about the company and complimenting how nice the new windows look. I highly recommend Window World for new windows!

The spring before getting these, they had replaced all the back windows of my home. My experience with them went very well. I'm really happy with the appearance of the windows and the functionality of the windows. They work really well. I choose them partly because of their price. I had several other bids on that, and they weren't the cheapest, but they were lower than several of the other ones. I just felt comfortable with the situation and with the guy who came and did the estimates and everything.

The installers were very courteous and very professional. They were really good about setting appointments and letting us know when they were on their way and cleaning up. It was generally a good experience. The first time, they had to reschedule because the job prior to us took longer than they had anticipated but when they rescheduled, they were very punctual.

There were 3 workers who came out to do the work in a total of 2 days.

The service went well. Four technicians came out and completed the job in 4 hours. They did an excellent job. They completely tore the old door out and were able to salvage the original woodwork. They had great craftsmanship and did a nice job replacing some siding. Everything came out very well and scheduling with them was not an issue. Once the product came in they came right out for the installation.

Crew arrived on time; foreman asked me to show him exactly what I wanted replaced, redone and repaired and done. Showed him where everything was, old siding, new door, where to make the opening for the new door, and where the places where that needed replacement siding. They got to work in a timely fashion and if there was any question, the foreman came to me and asked to make sure they were doing what I wanted done. Crew stayed all day to get the job done. The foreman returned the next day to fix 2 replacement spot, they had not gotten to on the previous day. Did a great job, looks great and the foreman was adamant that I was satisfied that they had done everything that I had asked to be done. The siding looks great and so does the new door. Good work.

There is a very long story as to why we needed to replace 19 windows on our 9 year old home but I won't bore you with that. Needless to say, we needed new windows and the search began. The research, the reading, the TIME....website after website (manufacturer sites, consumer reports, comparison charts, energy efficiency ratings etc.) it became agonizing. I just drove myself crazy reading and trying to make a decision. I think it?s only natural to want to know exactly what you?re buying especially when you?re spending such a large sum of money for something that can potentially impact your home?s value one way or the other. My advice?save yourselves some very precious time and just go with Window World. Our salesman was prompt and professional and most importantly honest. The windows we ordered were the 4000 (double hung) series with the Solar Zone Elite glass with argon. We felt we were getting a great quality American made product. My husband was home for the instillation. He said that they were on time and did an amazing job. After the final look over he signed off and since then all is history. We also have peace of mind knowing that we have a great warranty. Overall our experience was great and would do it all over again. Our only regret was that we didn?t use them sooner.

They did a good job. We had out back porch done so we wanted new windows installed to go with it and everything went really well.

Removed old windows, prepared the area very efficiently, their cleanup was excellent, They were extremely pleasant and very friendly.

They came out with a couple of days of us calling for a quote. We received our windows within a couple of weeks. They had apparently mismeasured one of the windows. They had the replacement out and installed within 10 days. it has been 4 years and they work great! No problems and no ice on the inside of the windows in the winter! Keeps cool air in during the summer. Would highly recommend this business.

Got 3 bids. From home depot, Pella, and window world. chose window world. We don't have a big house so it was not a high price ticket for them, but we also wanted good windows, tempered glass, energy efficient, and a finished look outside for our new Hardy Board cement siding. They are the only ones who listened to what we wanted instead of sell us what they wanted. Installation was quick, efficient, professional, like we were an important client. We love our new windows. We are going to put in a new garage door soon, called them. Its a shame they do not do garage doors in St Louis area.

I am simply thrilled. Everything went as promised. I did check local homes that had the windows installed. I never felt any sales pressure to upgrade or spend more than I was comfortable with. My home was built in the 60's and the new windows look amazing.

They were by far the best bid. The crew that came in were courteous and very friendly and I think they did a good job. It's not the absolute best product, but because the cost is so dramatically lower, they are certainly the best buy.

I actually didn't deal with the company at all (other family members were there for the estimate and installation), I just paid and get to reap the benefits of the new windows. They are beautiful, I can say that much :) We had an appt to put them in on a Tuesday and they had to reschedule for Thursday... c'est la vie.

I thought there price was reasonable compared with other people that I have called. I feel like they made a few mistakes and the work they did wasn’t their best. Overall, I’m happy with the results but I probably wouldn’t recommend them to anyone else.

Crew was timely. Crew boss was very knowledgable. Remarkably fast in completing job. Left property clean of all debris from project. We had one issue that Window World followed up on promptly. Overall, very satisfied with this company. Will be requesting an estimate for siding in near future, will write a follow-up if we use Window World again.

Overall I am happy with the purchase, and l like this company. The installation team came on time and worked very hard for 5 hours. I like to keep my floor clean, so I asked them to wear shoe covers inside the house. This probably made their work tougher as they bring things in and take something out, but they did what I asked them to do. Everything went smoothly and they cleaned their work area afterwards. I really like what I can do with the windows now, and I think it was a good buy for the price. One criticism I have is that one guy forgot to give final touches of caulking to two of the windows. I pointed it out when I was checking after they finished the installation, but the guy who did the caulking had already left the house. Another guy who was still in the house tried to fix it with his finger, but it got messy and was not pretty as the rest of the windows... I would use this company again though for my next project. I hope he will not forget something like this next time.

The salesman showed up right on time, did an excellent job of briefly explaining their windows and explaining the options available as well as the pricing. I made my window selections and put half down. The sales person took final measurements and gave a time frame of 3 to 4 weeks for arrival. Three weeks later the installers arrived a little late due to a flat tire. Double checked their measurements before installation began to find that 2 window measurements were incorrect. The installers were friendly courteous and did a great job installing the remaining twelve windows. They re-measured and ordered the other 2 widows and arrangements have been made for installation.

I liked the installation crew. They did have one measurement that wasn't right that they had to re-make a window, but they took care of it.
