They were lazy, would not pick up the trash, when we called, the office ladies made excuses for the employees but al least were smart enough to put some notes in our files about our complaints. They suck and deserve a score of an F. We were with Veolia for about 5 months and they had other accounts out this way as we saw their dumpsters upon our drive home
Description of Work: Would not pick up our trash on scheduled days. We would call then and they would say, " oh, leave it out there, they will get it." We told them we live in country and would not leave the garbage up at the highway because we weren't going to be picking it up after coons,possums,coyetes,wild dogs, etc had strewn it around everywhere. We called the number to the location closest to us (Boonville) they would make up excuses such as ,"we're only human and mistakes are made. Now we are not talking about an isolated case where they didn't pick up our trash once, this happened muliple times. Today is March 21 and they have not picked it up at all in the month of March and ther were 2-3 times in February they didn't come get it either. Also our neighbor saw them drive up to our driveway where the trash was, (neighbor lives directly across from driveway) and told us the Veolia employees didn't even get out of the truck, they just drove off. When I called about this, I was told, " We're all humans and make mistakes." They do not have GPS tracking systems on their trucks so their employers dont know where they go. We were with Veolia about 2 months and will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. After missing our trash for at least 3-4 times, I'm only getting $26.00 back from that $158.66. If any friends, co- workers,etc ask me about TRASH COLLECTORS, I WILL STRONGLY URGE THEM TO STAY AWAY FROM VEOLIA. Also after multiple complaints to Veolia, I never received a phone call from the manager in Boonville. It wasn't until I researched and found out the name of the manager in Macon and told him of this negative experience that the Boonville Manager finally called me and let me tell you, it wasn't pretty. Weswitched companies that day to another local company from around Boonville, and in a couple of months I will post a review on them but I'm almost certain it won't be this negative.

Veolia provides an awful level of customer service. As a member of Unincorporated St. Louis County Trash District #3, I pay Veolia for weekly garbage and recycling collection. Although garbage is usually collected on the appropriate date, recycling collection has been late at least three of the past six weeks. I have repeatedly called their customer service center after missed pickups, and their customer service representatives, while apologetic, have been unable to remedy this situation. Recycling pickup remains consistently late. I am growing tired of seeing recycling bins on the driveways of my neighborhood for two days each week. Not only is it unsightly, it is attracts vermin and litter. My desired resolution is to have Veolia reliably pickup garbage and recycling on the date they specify.
Description of Work: Veolia provides residential garbage and recycling collection to my residence for approximately $31.00 per quarter.

They collect trash in three different parts: garbage, yard waste, and recycles. They have been skipping the recycle collection. I've tried calling them but I'm kept on hold for about 15 minutes, no matter the day or time of day. When I finally get through the person assures me that the recycles will be collected the next day but they never are. I've given up and have switched to another company.
Description of Work: I have had a contract with them for picking up garbage, yard waste and recycles.

HOWEVER MY NEIGHBORS GARBAGE HAS BEEN PICKED UP. WHEN I NOTICED THAT THE NEIGHBORS GARBAGE HAD BEEN PICKED UP, I THEN CALLED AGAIN. THIS CALL TOOK 12 MINUTES. WANDA SAID THAT MAYBE THERE IS A DIFFERENT TRUCK THAT WAS GOING TO PICK UP OUR GARBAGE. I LIVE ON CUL DE SAC AND 4 OUT OF THE 7 HOMES, HAD THEIR GARBAGE PICKED UP. THEN, WANDA SAID THE SAME THING AGAIN. I THOUGHT THAT THIS WAS UNACCEPTABLE AND THAT I DID NOT CARE WHO OR HOW THE GARBAGE WOULD BE PICKED UP, I JUST WANT MY GARBAGE REMOVED. WANDA THEN TOLD ME THAT SHE WOULD HAVE SOMEONE FROM HER OFFICE COME OUT AND PICK UP THE GARBAGE. WE ARE GOING TO GET A DIFFERENT GARBAGE SERVICE. I THEN RECEIVED THE FINAL BILL DATED JULY 25TH, THEN RECEIVED NOTICE DATED AUGUST 9TH (15 DAYS LATER) THAT STATED THE ACCOUNT MAY BE DELINQUENT IF NOT PAID 30 DAYS AFTER THE INITIAL NOTICE. I ACTUALLY HAD ALREADY SENT THEM A CHECK FOR THE BILL AMOUNT AND FOUND THIS FRUSTRATING.
Description of Work: WE HAVE ALWAYS OPTED TO HAVE OUR GARBAGE PICKED UP ONCE A WEEK. THEY HAVE MOVED OUR DAY TO FRIDAY WHICH WAS STATED IN PAPERWORK THEY SENT US. WHEN THAT DAY ROLLED AROUND THEY DID NOT PICK UP THE GARBAGE. MY HUSBAND CALLED AND WAITED TO SPEAK WITH SOMEONE FOR 20 MINUTES. WHEN HE FINALLY GOT SOMEONE, THEY SAID THAT THE GARBAGE WOULD BE PICKED UP AND THEY SAID THAT IF THEY DID NOT PICK UP THE GARBAGE ON FRIDAY THEY WOULD GET IT ON MONDAY. SO, AT ABOUT 3:30 OR 4:00 ON MONDAY WHEN THE GARBAGE HAD NOT BEEN PICKED UP, I CALLED AND IT TOOK 10 MINUTES FOR SOMEONE TO PICK UP THE PHONE. THEN I SPOKE WITH SOMEONE WHO GAVE ME THE SAME STORY THAT THEY GAVE MY HUSBAND. I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH A SUPERVISOR, WANDA. WANDA APOLOGIZED AND SAID THAT THEY WOULD CERTAINLY GET SOMEONE OUT TODAY TO PICK UP THE GARBAGE. HOWEVER, IF THE GARBAGE TRUCKS DO NOT PICK THE TRASH UP ON MONDAY, THEN WE WILL SEND SOMEONE OUT ON TUESDAY. IT IS NOW TUESDAY AND THE GARBAGE HAS STILL NOT BEEN PICKED UP.
