Jameson did the job and the shower works but the caulking around the unit is horrible looking. Gaps and surplus places all around. I asked Mr. Jameson to this job while he was working on a current job in my home. I called him to tell him I wasn't happy with the caulking he wouldn't answer but his wife did. She told me that she would not let him redo the caulking because he did it for free. I told if you pay someone $100 for a job it wasn't free. She seemed to be surprised about the money but then changed her statements that is was "like" free because if someone else did it, it would of been more. I replied that he he stated his price and I agreed why would I say oh no let me pay you more. Plus the job took him a total of two hours and so $50 an hour isn't to bad. Mr. Jameson instead of calling me back only sent rude text messages to my wife. I basically feel that he is a thief and a coward. He will not honor his commitments, takes money and does not complete jobs, and will not talk to the man of the house only to my wife trying to intimidate her.

It started out great but it ended horrible. Jameson was hired due to a previous handyman's blunder which was to finish out a bedroom and put a rail around the top of the steps. The first few days went great and as well as the work. After about halfway through we ordered our carpet but found out it would take two weeks to put it down. Jameson still had some work to do but just quit when he found out that it would take two weeks to put carpet down, He said he would come back after carpet was down, We had to really push for him to come back and finish what he could before the carpet came in because I didn't want sheet rock dust or paint to end up on the new carpet. He did after a few days of calls finally show up and finished what he could but he wanted to be paid for finishing the job and PROMISED that he would finish the rail the day the carpet was put down. THis was a text sent to my wife's cell phone which we still have. He didn't mud or sand or anything to the sheet rock inside the walk in closet. He seemed upset when we asked him to finish out the facing of the closet door and window. I know it is the inside of the closet but it should of still been done right. I should of said something but it was hard enough to get him to comeback to finish up this part of the job. The deal was when Lowes showed up to put the carpet down we was to call him so he could then come over put the the rail up. We had to wait on the rail because the carpet installer said it would be very difficult to put carry the carpet upstairs and asked if we could wait. My wife and I both tried several times calling him so he could complete the rail. He wouldn't answer. The calls started at 8am and we finally heard from him about 3pm. The only reason he called us is because we got a hold of a man who worked with him at the start. David told me that he didn't know where Jameson was and that he couldn't get him or get him answer his phone either. He said that he would go by his house and see if he could find him for us. Jameson called my wife's cell instead of calling the house to tell her he wasn't coming till Thursday. She stood up to him and so no, that wasn't the deal we paid you early and you said you promised that you would be here Tuesday. He said that he would have to come late at night if we wanted it done, and my wife said that was fine. I am so proud of her for not letting him bully her. After about a half hour Jameson called back and said he had two guys he could send over about 4. I thought that I would help the process up and get the materials up to where they needed it. The box of special $30 screws that I just had to get for this project was not here. I called him and again he wouldn't answer my call. I left a message and said we need to do something because the super special expensive screws that he said for me to get wasn't here. When the two men showed up, I explained to them that there wasn't any screws here and I didn't know what was we going to do. These guys told me that they could take care of it. Once the two got started I FINALLY got a call from Jameson and let me tell you it wasn't "Christ Like" at all. At first he said he took the screws home by accident to someone else took them home by accident to he took them home because he was scared the would get lost. I guess he thought I would steal my own screws. I guess all the other tools and materials needed wasn't that important. He threatened this and that and that he was going to pull the two men out from the job. I threatened if he did I would have to use legal action against him. I reminded him that the job wasn't done, and that some things wasn't complete and he said he wasn't going to do them. He said finishing out the window and door was extra work. How in the world it could be considered extra work when that was the job to get the room finished so the boy we adopted could move in his new room. I knew I shouldn't of paid him early, thank goodness for David Robinson for getting us in contact with Jameson so that he would have to follow through with his commitment.
