Description of Work: The work done on my hardwood floors was of good quality and I am pleased with the results, however, I misunderstood the ad from Angie's List.

Description of Work: They cleaned four bedrooms, a loft area, 27 stairs, a large rec room in the basement, an office in the basement, and a 15' x 15' rug in the great room which they took out to my garage to clean because it sits on a hard wood floor. They worked steadily through the house and did a wonderful job.

Description of Work: The owner of the company canceled because I made his employee "nervous." The work was never performed and I got my money back from Angie's List. | |What happened? When the Kwik Dry employee arrived to clean my carpet on the appointed day, he took a brief tour to examine the carpeting. As he did so, I asked him a few questions, such as: Would he be moving the furniture? (No.) How would he protect the wooden legs of my chairs? (The spray is angled away.) etc. The employee then went out to his van to bring in the hoses. | |While the employee was outside, I received a call from the owner of the company. He said that his employee had just called him and said that I had made him (the employee) nervous. So, the owner said he was canceling the service. Surprised, I asked how I could get my money back (because it was an Angie's List Big Deal, I had pre-paid) and was told to call Angie's List. | |If a company has doubts that it can perform a service, it is better to admit it. However, carpet cleaning IS Kwik Dry's business and I found the entire episode strange.
