Description of Work: Called less than 24 hours prior to job and said he couldn't do it all his cleaning people had quit

Description of Work: Arranged for a Wednesday appointment and on Tuesday the Kwik Dry Carpet Cleaning called and said they would have to cancel the appointment for Wednesday. I had every item removed from the living room in anticipation of the Wednesday service. I had to reschedule for the following Wednesday due to my work schedule which left my living room unusable for 1 week. When Kwik Dry Carpet Cleaning arrived the service technician looked at the wood floor and said he likes doing floors like this. After cleaning the wooden floor and putting several coats on the floor, the technician gave the receipt and left. Within an hour or so the floor went from a overall shine to a spotty shine with noticeable areas looking like no coating was applied. A call to the company office got the technician to call back. After explaining the situation he said that the floor may have absorbed the coating and that he put several coats on the floor. Contact was made back to the office and no satisfaction was obtained from the office. The technician called back the next day and during the conversation he said that he could put additional coats on at $50.00 per coat but didn't think that would solve the issue because the floors were not sanded prior to the coats being applied. At no time were we told that the service we had purchased from Angie's List could result in this spotty application on the floor. The phone conversation with the technician continued on and he eventually said that the results were not guaranteed and that information was in the fine print. I saw nothing on Angie's List that mentioned that, and the yellow receipt that was given to me on the completion of service had no fine print on the front and was blank on the back, not indicating what he had just said. The result is the floor is spotty and per the technician, the floor will remain spotty until additional service are paid for. Very unhappy with Kwik Dry Carpet Cleaning.

Description of Work: They cleaned a large sofa and chair. I was happy with the results and still am. I would use them again. The guys were top notch and super friendly. I like hiring people who know how to smile and laugh while doing a good job.
