Everything went well, and even though the repairs ended up taking longer than expected due to additional problems The Shop did a great job and got it taken care of as fast as possible. I wholeheartedly recommend them!!

+ -1 moreIt’s a facility that we trust. They are very honest, good people. They have never tried to scam us on anything. They have never suggested repairs that weren’t necessary. They have never charged us for repairs that haven’t been done. They are just very honest people. There was a time when my son was having a trouble with his car and they could not figure out why his car would get some place and the car wouldn’t start. It had to do with the computer and the ignition in the key. It took them so long to figure it out that it was just the computer chip and the ignition. They did not even charge my son for the labor. They charged him only for the parts just because it took him so long to take care of it. We would use them again in the future.
Description of Work: We used The Shop for auto service. We have been using them for 10 years. We use them on a regular basis.

+ -1 moreAfter having radiator and water pump problems on my 1975 LTD, I took it to The Shop Automotive Repair. I had driven for a parts store for a while, and knew the mechanic specialized in older cars. While I did have to replace the radiator, the water pump leak turned out to be a couple of hoses (big savings there) and when it still overheated, he replaced the thermostat fairly cheaply. Later, I needed the brakes done, and when I couldn't do them myself due to something unusual about the calipers, I took the LTD back to the Shop, and again, got great service. Only problem now is you HAVE to wear the seat belts in the LTD or you eat dash when I nail the brakes. It's been a while since I was there, everything is working great, no mystery issues, no unusual repairs needed since. Sean (the owner) did suggest some work, replacing the old hoses on the radiator, but...he wasn't pushy, and while I understand they will go eventually, those are within my automotive-repair skill range. Sean is very professional, he's honest about his work, and I trust him completely with any car I take to him.
Description of Work: Replaced radiator and heater hoses on my 1975 LTD. A few weeks later, replaced the brake shoes and rotors.
