Description of Work: They replaced siding and trim on our house's chimney chase. The initial bid for services was detailed as to what would be done, and the price was in line with estimates provided other service providers. The actual work was completed efficiently and with high quality. Actual ending cost was slightly higher than the estimate but well justified by conditions found after removing the old siding.

Description of Work: We met with the company at the home show and discussed new windows and patio doors. They never followed up to schedule an appointment. This is the third time they failed to contact us as we have talked to them in the past at home shows. I guess we are slow learners but will not try to give them our business ever again. Every other company we met with followed up with a call within a week of the home show. Swift does not seem interested in smaller jobs even though my job would have been several thousand dollars.

+ 2 moreWent great, deck is absolutely beautiful with cedar rails and a great deal for the size of it. Project got delayed slightly due to rain but they rolled with it and got all the window work done. Windows and doors look great and we can cut the AC off in the morning and the house will stay cold for most of the day. They also worked together with Nemow Insulation for our pre and post energy audit. Everyone was very nice and professional the ENTIRE time they were at the house (about a month). Very happy with the service, professionalism, and quality of product. All of my calls to Terry (owner) were promptly answered or returned in a timely manner and he visited the site several times to make sure everything was going smoothly. Steve (head carpenter) was there every day and a pleasure to work with. I trusted them all completely in my home when I couldn't be there and our dogs even liked them. Would do business with again for sure.
Description of Work: Removed old 2 story deck built new one. Installed 9 new windows, a new slider and french doors.

+ -1 moreWe have a house built in 1939, with the original windows and trim, with storm window panes added sometime in the past. After talking with 3 or 4 window installers, Swift was the only company that indicated that they could retain all of the original 1939 trim, which all of the other installers insisted had to be torn out, replaced and repainted. Swift took out the old windows from outside the house and replaced them with outstanding double-hung windows in the same style as what came out, and retained all of the original trim, which did not even have to be re-painted, so careful was their work. Swift replaced 33 windows in two stories of the house, and every one of the windows was a work of art, perfectly in style with the house and also working perfectly, but with modern standards of insulation. The change in ventilation in the house was striking, drafts which I had thought came from the central HVAC air currents disappeared, and heating bill dropped substantially. After three years, the windows are still flawless.

+ 0 moreThey do our remodeling, door replacements and some odds and ends around the outdoors that needed to be taken care of. Including siding and just fixing up and that kind of stuff. They are going to be replacing our doors in a few days. a few landscaping items and they are doing an addition to one of our rooms. I feel the pricing is reasonable. Their timing is a little slow, like responsive time.

+ 0 moreFollowing introductory call, rep. visited and measured each window, gave a price and time of delivery estimate. Price was right on target, delivery was slow (presumable to allow for individual measurement). On arrival, they set up an installation date and showed up promptly, ready to go. In my homeowner's ignorance, I had attempted to remedy a couple of rotting window frames with caulk--that gave them some trouble but, with no complaint, they finished in a day. Neat, tidy, air- and weather-tight. Cleaned up outside and in with a minimum of disruption.
Description of Work: In 2007, Swift Windows (working as Boone Co. Millwork) replaced about half the wooden-frame windows in our house with "plastic" Gorell all-season windows. In 2010, they replaced the other half. The new windows appear to be top-quality, with built-in storm and screen panels, removable for easy cleaning. After two and five years, all panels still slide freely when raised/lowered but stay in place otherwise. Company removed all debris and cleaned up inside.
