They moved furniture, shampooed living room, dining room hallway, a complete bedroom and the high traffic spots in 2 other bedrooms. In my son's room my grandchild had broken a marker open and there was black permanent marker all over the rug. They got it all out! They tested spots on carpet to see what they were caused from and then explained the different chemicals they were using on different spots to remove them. Also explained that a couple would look good for a while, but would slowly show up again due to being in the pad underneath also. Otherwise I would have been upset to see them come back.

On time, efficient, clean and courtreous

Greg and Bruce came out to clean our carpets again. I used them 9 months ago but have had a new puppy for 4 months and our carpets needed cleaning again. Greg and Bruce are the best service professionals I have hired in a long time! They are always on time and extremely personable with me and my children. They went out of their way to help me move toys and breakables that I should have moved in advance. They never try to sell me extra services that I don't need but honestly answer any questions I have. They are so honest and genuinely good people that I usually get extra things cleaned and they always find a way to give me a discount. The company sent me a $50 gift certificate this winter when business was slow and honestly said their employees needed work. We are considering having Greg and Bruce clean our hardwood floors next because of their outstanding service and reasonable estimate. I highly recommend them! FYI- Call them directly in Columbia. I'm convinced I get better prices then when I book through the 1-800-STEAMER booking center that is in St Louis.

I submitted the request online and was contacted very soon afterwards. Greg came out and to give me an estimate on what he could do and how much it was going to cost. We had just bought the house and I wanted to make sure the carpet was thoroughly cleaned before we moved in. Greg did an outstanding job of cleaning the carpet. All the places I didn't think would come out, he got with no problems at all. He saw that we were replacing the flooring in other parts of the house and explained that Stanley Steemer also provided flooring sales and installation. After talking with Greg about what we needed in the way of flooring, he put me in contact with Bruce who came out and took the measurements for carpeting and laminate in several rooms. We had received a quote from Home Depot of a whopping $12,000.00 that made my jaw drop. Needless to say when I got the quote from Bruce for under $6,000.00 to floor 4 bedrooms, 2 hallways, 2 baths, kitchen and dining room I was all kinds of happy. I'm looking forward to the installation of the flooring in just a short couple of weeks.These guys are wonderful to work with. Very personable, knowlegable and just honest to goodness good guys. I will certainly recommend Stanley Steemer to friends and family. I'll have to write another review on the installation of the floors since that part hasn't been completed as yet and it's a different crew.
