"Thank you [member name removed]! It is always our goal to give the best service possible. I have built this business by living by the golden rule. Since my husband's death there have been some transitions in the front office, however, we are here to serve our community. Sue Riley, owner"
"Dear (Members name removed), First let me say that I feel bad that you feel you had such a bad experience with our company. Our goal is 100% satisfaction to all of our clients. I wish that you had expressed these concerns to us when our office manager spoke with you a couple of days after your clean, because I would have sent a team out of make things right. I do, however, wish to address some of the concerns you listed. Our office manager was a part of the team that cleaned your home that day, so she was quite surprised to hear of these things. There were several cob webs throughout the house, and the ceiling fans were quite dusty, but Stephanie personally went through every corner of the house and over every ceiling fan with our swiffer and removed all of that. In fact, she used 6+ Swiffers on your home that day. She also personally hand washed all of the window sills and doors with damp cloths. Both of the door windows were sprayed with Windex and wiped dry with a t-shirt, which is our usual practice. As you stated, there was a candy drawer in the kitchen. Our team emptied that drawer into a bag that your mother provided us, and then wiped out the drawer. The furniture in the living room that was from the previous owners was dusted, again by our office manager, and she did vacuum each room that had carpet. On the hard surface floors, we used a canister vacuum and mop. As I am sure you know, your mother was present for the entire clean, was able to look things over and she voiced no concerns about the quality of work. The office manager did speak with your mother about the self cleaning oven, but did not feel comfortable turning it on, as your mother was not sure she could stay there the whole day with it on. The temperatures get above 400 degrees and she didn't feel comfortable with the liability of leaving that on and unattended. I agree, about the calls you made to get in touch with us. I started this company 28 years ago, and until recently, because of the death of my husband, I have not been in the office as much as I usually am. We are having some transitions going on. We have recently changed our cell number to a business cell from my personal one and I am not sure we have all the kinks worked out yet. We do however, have an agreement with Angie's List that we respond within two days of an inquiry, or we get a reminder from them, of which we did not receive. I have worked very hard to build our business in the Columbia area. We do free cleaning for women in cancer treatment and give back to our community. We have hundreds of "satisfied" clients that we clean every day. Some of them have been with us since we started 28 years ago. You do not build a business like that by not servicing your customers."
"Thank you for the wonderful review [member name removed]. Thank you for choosing Personal Touch Cleaning Service!"
"Thank you so much for the wonderful review!"
"Thank you for the review [removed member name]! We appreciate your business. We know you have many choices and we are honored you chose us. Sue"
"I am not sure why the response on [member name removed] is "NO" for not hire again. We are cleaning for on a weekly basics and have done so for 7plus years. He just posted an awsome review on yelp. Maybe you need to double check your sources. Thank you!"
What I requested:
Wipe down all the walls and dust all ceilings; vaccuum all carpeted areas (including inside closets); scrub tiled/linoleum floors; clean all baseboards and doors; clean mirrors and windows; clean inside and outside of kitchen and bathroom cabinets; clean/scrub both bathrooms; clean range and oven, range hood and refrigerator inside and out; wash all ceiling light coverings, shades and fan blades; discard all trash in the appropriate container on the property; and sweep the outside deck and entry ways.
On the date we agreed upon, she and her helper met me at the apartment on time. Both were courteous and respectful and behaved professionally. Shortly before the work was completed, she contacted me and I returned to the site and inspected the work.
After going through the apartment to see if there was anything she had missed, I paid her the agreed on $75.00 and gave her a tip, as I was quite satisfied with the work.
I would not hesitate to use her services again or to give her a reference. I was very pleased with her work.
"[Member name removed], Thank you for posting a review! We are so pleased that you were happy with the work that we did for you. Thanks again!"
