Very pleased with service and results.

He came to my house to estimate and talk about the job. He was very willing to engage with me with how the project should go rather than tell me what I should do. He spoke honestly and candidly, which I value, about potential problems and such. After several weeks of rain, which delayed the project due to his concern for the damage the project might cause in my yard, he completed the job in a couple days. I am happy with the work and look forward to using Millersburg Valley Landscaping again.

Brought wrong tree but quickly fixed problem.

Millersburg does very good work. They were really professional, and I thought their estimate was very reasonable. They are very experienced, and they listened to me. I described what I wanted, and they made suggestions and interacted with me the way that you would expect a professional to interact. They got back to me very quickly, which I really like. We were lucky Millersburg stepped in. I don't think anyone could have built a better patio or given us everything we wanted. Everyone who worked on the project was very considerate and went out of their way not to disrupt our routine. They started work when they said they would and stayed on the job till late. They did more than I asked for or expected. They cleaned up every night and even worked in the yard during downtimes. New topsoil was added to the new beds and everything was ready for us to take over the planting. Evan (owner) even brought the evening paper to the house. The patio is great. It is now very usable and the drainage problem no longer exists. The new blocks in the wall (old ones were discontinued) are not at all noticeable and the wall has been stabilized. Evan has been back several times to check on the drainage and tweak the pavers. The areas he re-seeded and repaired because of the construction traffic look better than they ever have. I have since contracted with them to fix the bare spots in the lawn. New topsoil was brought in and it was re-seeded and mulched with straw. It already looks much, much better. I would definitely hire them again and have and will continue to recommend them to friends and family.

Everything with Millersburg Valley Landscaping went very well. I just contracted with him to do lawn care service. They were pretty quick getting to me. They contacted me and answered all my questions. I was pleased with their service.

They were professional and he suggested of using a paver stones for the area. He took some picture for the area, the idea of paving stones and gave me what the concept would be like.

They communicated very well with us and they finished the work in 2 days. They’re very professional and very interested in doing the job to our expectation. They’re careful in working in terms of where to place the rocks to use in building a wall. Overall they provided us an excellent service.

Didn't ever receive a return call. I like what they had on their website, but without a response I can't make any further good/bad other than not responsive

We purchased a home in Columbia in 2011. While the home was almost new it had been empty for several months when we bought it. The landscaping at the front of the house was not in good shape, and the drought of 2012 made it worse. Early this year we decided to totally redo it. I contacted some of the larger companies and had problems getting a response. Finally we signed up for Angie's list and searched there. Millersburg had good reviews, and it was family owned and operated. I called and was sent to voice mail, but Evan (the owner) called me back within 2 hours. He set up an appointment for 2 days later. That day he showed up on time, and looked at our situation. He listened to what we had in mind, made some suggestions, and said he would email us a plan and estimate within a week. We actually received both within 4 days. We were very happy with the plan, and the estimate was around $500 less than what we expected. We signed the contract, and asked that we be near the top of his list when the weather permitted this. He and his wife Tamara, who works along side of him, showed up the first of this week to put in the stone edging and remove the old shrubs and plants. They accomplished this in one day, and said they would be back the end of the week (weather permitting). Yesterday they arrived and completed the job, planting the new shrubs and bushes, plus removing a small tree and planting a new one. They were done by late afternoon, and did a thorough cleanup. Throughout all this both Evan and Tamara were very friendly, professional, and thorough. In fact, we were so happy with them we asked them to do our lawn maintenance program for the year. I highly recommend this company.

Although he could have done part of the work and charged me knowing I'd have to get someone else to finish it up, Evan was professional and gave me recommendations for companies that could do it all. And as a follow-up to the landscaping repairs Evan did last year, now that we've finally had some rain, I can confirm that his estimate of what was needed was right on - I no longer have a swamp on the side of my house every time we get some precipitation! I'll definitely call on Evan and Millersburg Valley Landscaping again.

It was a positive experience. They mowed every week unless it rained and then they would come back. The price was competitive and they were nice people.

The work ws done when promised. The wwork we superior and the cost cameinunder estimate. Evan came over to do the reviews of needs and had good suggestions that we might consider to improve and complete the work. He purchased all the plants and shrubs and brought themover the dya before the work was to begin. The project was completed in two days and even though we were out of town. Evan kept incontactwith questions and updates. The work was completed and on our retuen,we were pleased at the changes to the property. Evan came by the next day to walk through the work to verify satisfaction. Would definitely use again.

I have owned my home just over one year and had Evan and his crew work to level several areas of my lawn: (1) The next door neighbor's property is at a higher elevation than mine. It's a relatively small hill, but the water runoff from it and from the 3 downspouts on that side of the house and garage all drained into a slight depression the entire length of the house so that every time we had a heavy rain, it would be literally like a swamp AND my garage floor would be wet for weeks after. it all looked really bad! I called Evan in mid-July to get an estimate to install a French drain to handle the problem, but after taking a good look around he said I didn't need to have that much work done. He could dig down by the 3 downspouts and install underground extensions to move the water away and disperse it. After that, he would bring depression up to the same level as the rest of the surrounding yard by adding topsoil and then apply grass seed and straw to resolve it all. He did the downspout extensions within a week or so, but this was in the height of July heatwave and extreme dry spell, so I suggested he wait to do the larger part of the job until the weather broke and we'd hopefully had a bit of rain to soften the ground somewhat. Obviously I wasn't worried about excess rain this summer! It was the middle of August before the temperature broke and he called to make an appointment to do the rest of the work. It was cloudy that morning and supposed to rain by the end of the day, so he was there 30 minutes early to get started just in case the rain materialized. As he worked, he explained each step to me and did a great job! (2) Last summer a local excavator installed a sewer line across my entire front yard to connect my elderly neighbors to the city. It didn't cost me anything and he was supposed to return my lawn to its original condition. He ruined my lawn! I ended up with a huge hump running across one side of the driveway and a sunken area across the other side. Evan scraped the hump down, added new topsoil to the sunken area and applied grass seed and straw all the way across. I'm very happy with his work! After he left, my neighbor came over and asked whether I'd recommend him to "fix" their lawn, too because the original company did such a bad job. I gave him Evan's name and number and defintely recommended that he call.

He does a great job, and they have reasonable prices. I have lost a lot of trees with him, and he always cleans up very well. The gentlemen who owns it is very polite, courteous, and friendly.

I called multiple landscaping companies to give estimates and provide design work for new landscaping. I like Millersburg from just the phone conversation, but I didn't like the design they provided. I liked another company's design but didn't care for the way I was treated. I took the other company's design and sent it to Millersburg asking them to give me a quote on that particular design. We both agreed to it and within 2 weeks I had all new front landscaping. They showed up on time, finished on time, and cleaned it all up.

They did an excellent job. They were there when they said they'll be there. They cleaned up well. The trees have flowers and they are doing very well in spite of lack of rain. They were very friendly. I just think they did an excellent job. I was very impressed and very happy with them.

Evan from Millersburg Valley Landscaping came out to give me an estimate on removing two Holly bushes with huge root systems that we wanted removed. ?He went right to work digging and chopping out the roots. ?It was not easy, but he accomplished it. ?He did a great job and the cost was more than reasonable. ?I will definitely call him if I need anything else done in the yard.

excellent. we were not on a time schedule. they completed the work in about 2 weeks, off and on. professional, very capable and a talent to see the final product while still being creative along the way.

Our existing retaining wall was not properly installed, and had drifted such that it was exerting pressure on a structural deck post. Evan carefully removed the wall, saving the blocks and clips for re-use in order to minimize our cost. He re-dug the wall base and added drain lines before reinstalling the entire wall. This was clearly laborious, but Evan took the time needed to do the job right. He also ensured that the worksite was clean at the end of each day, and made sure that the landscaping and gravel patio was fully protected during the project. The wall is now structurally sound, drains properly, and looks much better. Evan and Tammy are friendly, honest, hardworking and a pleasure to work with. I will continue to use them for our landscaping maintenance.

Very very pleased! The new landscaped area looks marvelous, Evan (the owner), totally worked with me in finding the best solution for my needs and taste. I will now plan further landscapes with him. Professional, reliable, and a very nice person. Reasonable prices too. Highly recommended.
