Description of Work: Millersburg Valley is a wonderful, responsive company. They redesigned the landscaping in front of my house and replaced the plantings. Evan showed up when he said they would, worked efficiently and did exactly what I wanted. They have been very patient with the million questions I asked. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: I used the hardscape "arm" of MVL to create a paver patio of 280+ SF (approx 19X15') w/wall seating to replace a crumbling brick patio. This involved removing the brick patio (quite the effort as there were rebars in concrete underneath), changing the shape slightly from retangular to give one side 2 curves & then meticulously placing/securing the pavers. As mentioned above, they created curved wall seating (4' & 6' sections--19"h & 13"deep) on the curved edges of the patio. When the patio was completed, I was concerned about a gap between the patio & the foundation to the screened-in porch that it abutted; plus, I was wanted a little darker look to the pavers. The owner came back & applied a water-resiliant caulk (used w/pools) where the porch & new patio met. Then he applied a glaze/sealant to the pavers to darken them. Result? I LOVE the new patio as does everyone who sees it.

Description of Work: Installed a french drain in our backyard. This included relandscaping to cover the pipe, etc. They are very friendly. It took a while to get things arranged but once it was set up they were very fast and did an excellent job. I would use them in the future for work if needed. They are honest and reasonable.

Description of Work: Pavers, drain and stone wall were added to the front entry of our home which had drainage problems. It was a vast improvement and we are thrilled with the end result. They were very professional and had great ideas for the up-grade. I would strongly recommend this Millersberg Valley Landscaping to anyone. They did a fantastic job for us.

Description of Work: Removed dead/dying bushes in part of front yard and replaced with new bushes and mulch. Removed dead bushes and small stumps in small area of back yard. All went well and was done as and when expected.

Description of Work: We wanted to have the backyard leveled out due to the steep grade of our property. Had the hill dug out, retaining wall installed, drainage installed and filled. We even made a change and added stairs halfway thru the process. The MVC guys didn't skip a beat. To make matters worse the guys had to wheelbarrow everything (70x4ft of stone blocks) down a nice hill to get into the yard. Plus this was a rainy, cold November. The work was done perfectly and it looks great.

Description of Work: I received an email stating that they were gone on vacation which of course is no problem. The email stated they would call me on Sat upon their return. I didn't receive a call but thought no big worry since they had just returned. A date was set up for them to come to the house for an evaluation of a job we had planned. They never showed up and then kept calling and leaving messages on the home phone when I gave them the work number. I would never be able to reach them. I purposefully didn't use this company because of their lack of attention and professionalism.

Description of Work: The main reason for giving the B is because of the decisions I made to the amount of work I authorized. However, for what I asked to be done, I would give an A. I would gladly use them again recommend them to others. |-lawn leveling to improve the watershed qualities of the lawn. |-stonework around a flower bed |-addressing lespadeza in the lawn |-reseeding and over seeding. |-did just what I asked |The lawn needs more work, but I didn't ask for it to be done because I needed to limit my costs.

Description of Work: Repaired a damaged RR tie wall at our business and I could not be more pleased. Reasonable rates, quick response and excellent quality of work. Nice folks to boot!!
